She is one of Britain’s biggest pop stars after her ‘Brat Summer’ trend put her in the spotlight this year.
But it’s not just Charli XCX’s music that’s turning heads: Cosmetic surgeons have also paid attention to her face.
Or more specifically, how it has changed over the years.
The 32-year-old, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, has previously admitted to having cosmetic ‘touch-ups’ including Botox.

A lateral brow lift is a non-surgical procedure that involves making a short incision, hidden in the hair, tightening and lifting the skin above and below the eyebrows.
The doctor examined her transformation over the past decade and compared a 2012 photo of Charli, aged 20, in which she has “full eyebrows,” balanced lower and upper lips, and a nose with natural “bulbosity” and a curve at the tip .
In the Boom Clap singer’s investigative images from 2014, when she was 22, he notes that she also has a “very youthful eye area” and “naturally higher eyebrow position.”
But in 2018, now 26, he said she may have had a rhinoplasty as “the tip of her nose looks more refined and ‘narrower.’
A tip rhinoplasty, commonly called a rhinoplasty, involves surgery performed from the nostrils (a closed rhinoplasty) or by making a small incision in the nose.
By breaking and repositioning the nasal bone, a surgeon can also reduce the width of the nose and achieve a narrower appearance.
“That incision, if closed properly, usually heals very nicely and it’s very difficult to tell whether someone had an open versus closed approach,” Dr. Linkov said.
Comparing photos of her face from 2019, at the age of 27, he also suggested the star may have had lip filler.
“There is now an improved balance between Charli’s upper lip and lower lip,” he added.
Her youthful appearance, at age 28, may also be thanks to anti-wrinkle injections such as Botox around her eyes and forehead, Dr. Linkov said, which relaxes the muscles in the face to smooth out lines and wrinkles.
He added: ‘I think she got neurotoxin on her forehead – I see fewer wrinkles there and possibly fewer wrinkles too.’
This is the area between the nose and the eyebrows, both often targeted by Botox.
In January 2023, Charli shared on TikTok that she hoped to receive a Grammy nomination, and made a not-so-subtle hint about anti-wrinkle injections.
She captioned the video: “I need more Botox before I accept any awards.”

Despite its popularity, surgeons have previously suggested that using fillers at a young age carries several risks, including stretched skin that sags more quickly than normal.
A final change in her face was seen earlier this year, at age 32, Dr. Linkov said, speculating that she may have had a lateral brow lift — also called the cat eye lift.
The singer has previously been pictured wearing facial tape to create a jerked-off look on the red carpet.
While attending the December 2023 Fashion Awards in London, she was pictured with neon yellow tape on her temples as she raised her eyebrows.
But now the lateral brow appears to be permanently in a more lifted position, Dr. Linkov noted.
‘By lifting the lateral part of the eyebrow, it is possible to also lift the lateral part of the eye itself.
“I see an increased distance from the tail of her forehead to where the hairline begins, indicating a possible surgical temporary or lateral brow lift,” he added.
‘It also seems to me that the lips are more projected and that is one of the effects of fillers.

‘Although lip filler can improve the hydration of the lips, it also projects the lips forward.
‘Be aware that the filler can spread to other areas. If you inject it into the lip, it can sometimes go over the limit.’
But he added, “I don’t think Charli’s lip filler is too overdone.”
Cosmetic surgery experts have previously speculated that Charli may have also undergone a fox eye lift procedure.
Professor Ullas Raghavan, facial plastic surgeon at Pall Mall Medical, told MailOnline: ‘If you compare the latest photos with previous photos, there is a noticeable increase in the outer corners of the eyes that was not there before.
‘This type of lift is often achieved through a combination of surgical techniques and cosmetic treatments, such as threads or small incisions that lift the skin.’
However, he also admitted that she strategically applies her eyeliner to enhance and emphasize the lifted look, which could enhance any cosmetic treatment.
The fox-eye procedure, which costs up to £700, is carried out when the eyebrows are turned upward.
Clinics claim that this non-invasive procedure can take as little as 30 minutes and has minimal recovery time, with minor swelling and bruising for up to two weeks.
