Tigerlily has divided fans after teaming up with animal rights organization PETA for a confrontational campaign promoting a vegan lifestyle.

The blue-haired DJ, 31, who is pregnant with her first child, poses for a photo shoot rocking her baby bump as tears stream down her face and smudge her mascara.

In the background is a toy cow in a baby’s cradleand the accompanying text warns of the alleged cruelty of dairy farming.

“What if they took your baby? The dairy industry steals calves from their mothers. Go vegan,” it says in bold letters.

Many Tigerlily Instagram followers have criticized the campaign as “problematic.”

The caption says that calves are being ‘stolen’ from their mothers so that dairy farmers can harvest their mother’s milk.

Fans flocked to the comments section of Tigerlily’s Instagram page to discuss the ad.

“This strikes me as an incredibly problematic campaign,” said one, before further explaining how insensitive it is to compare farming to stealing children in the face of the stolen generations.

Saying “imagine they stole your baby” like it’s an outrageous concept. Let’s not forget the babies and children stolen from their families during colonization, and the babies and children who continue to be removed at an alarming rate within Aboriginal communities,” they added.

Another slammed Tigerlily, who is a vegan, for using her pregnancy to push PETA’s agenda.

“Such a joke and sad to use your kid as a way to push your own agenda,” they said, while another simply wrote, “Unfollow.”

Others stood up for the mother-to-be, with one echoing her sentiment by saying, “Dump dairy, folks!” It’s cruel and unnecessary.’

It comes after the animal rights activist, who is expecting a child with husband Scott Lawson, revealed she would not be raising her child completely vegan.
