DJ Fisher’s wife Chloe launches fundraiser to help victims of devastating LA wildfires: ‘The destruction is unimaginable’

The wife of famous DJ Paul Fisher is supporting the victims of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Chloe Fisher revealed on Instagram on Saturday that she has a GoFundMe to raise money for people, animals and wildlife affected by the catastrophe.

At least 11 people have died as catastrophic fires ripped through Los Angeles for the fourth day in a row.

More than 10,000 structures have burned to the ground, with a total of 29,053 hectares of land scorched in one of Los Angeles’ most horrific disasters to date.

Chloe, who splits her time between Australia and the US with her DJ husband, shared a lengthy post revealing her fundraising efforts.

“I’ve been working with the GoFundMe team to figure out how I can help people affected by the LA wildfires,” Chloe began the clip.

Chloe added that she wanted to start the fundraising campaign to help reduce the confusion about how people can help.

“I know it’s extremely overwhelming, there’s so many charities out there, there’s so many GoFundMes… and I really wanted to create one place where you can trust to donate money and know that it’s going to the right people,” said them.

Chloe continued her post saying that the money raised through her campaign would be distributed directly to those in need.

“I’m going to be raising money and I’m going to personally split it between two different areas – one will be to GoFundMe.org and these guys will be giving out cash grants to people in need.”

Chloe added that her second focus would be helping animals and wildlife, but added that she was still researching the best channel to distribute the money.

“Since this is extremely timely, I wanted to get this fundraiser started right away so I can start raising money,” she said.

“But in the coming days I will be investigating where exactly to send the money for the animals and wildlife.”

Chloe was confident she would be completely transparent about her fundraising.

“I’m going to personally transfer the money, and I hope I can make it a little easier for people to figure out where to take their money.”

She added that people who were not in a financial position to donate could still help.”

Even if you don’t have the money to donate, you can help immensely by sharing this post… because we can create a bigger impact the more it’s shared,” she said.

Chloë concluded her call to action by making her thoughts known to those involved.

“Once again I send my love, my thoughts and my prayers to everyone who has been affected out there,” she said.

“It is extremely heartbreaking and difficult to watch, but my thoughts are with you and I hope I can help you in some way in the days and weeks ahead.”

It was a sentiment Chloe shared on the GoFundMe page itself.

“Los Angeles has become our second home, and it is heartbreaking to watch from afar as wildfires devastate Southern California,” she wrote

“So many of our friends and loved ones have been directly affected, and the destruction is unimaginable.”

At the time of publication, despite only being active for a few hours, Chloe’s campaign had raised $14,555, with a goal of $100,000.

Chloe and DJ Fisher welcomed their first child together in June.

The former model and podcaster gave birth to a baby girl they named Bobbi Maree.

The happy news came after Fisher canceled his planned concerts in New York after his pregnant wife was taken to the hospital in possible premature labor.
