DJ Fat Tony revealed shocking facial injuries as he revealed he was attacked during a gig this weekend.
The music star and LGBTQ+ activist, real name Tony Marnach, 57, took to his Instagram on Saturday to share a video message to his fans in which he canceled an upcoming performance due to his injuries.
He said: ‘I can’t really go into details but I was attacked by another DJ at a gig in the DJ box last night, funny enough.
‘It resulted in me being knocked unconscious, taken to hospital and in A&E all night. You can clearly see the damage to my face and the swelling – it’s not good.
“I wanted to let you know that I cannot attend my performances today as I have been advised to stay home and get better.
“I am absolutely devastated, I am devastated that this has happened, I am devastated that people choose violence, especially when what we do comes from a place of love.

‘I’m really sorry I won’t see you tonight, but we’ll reschedule everything. Big love guys – I’m just gutted, really gutted.’
He then wrote the caption: “LOVE ALWAYS WINS
‘I have orders from the doctor. I need to rest and get better. I’m going to be fine and I’m on the mend, but for now I have to follow the doctors’ advice.
‘I know some of you have had this night out on your calendars for a long time and this is last minute – I’m really so sorry. I’ll make it all right in the new year. Merry Christmas everyone, take care of yourself.
‘We are moving the event from tonight to January 25th. I can’t wait to see you all there and party together.’
He then shared an update on his injury on Sunday morning as he thanked fans for his support and talked about how his partner Stavros Agapiou was looking after him.
He said: ‘Thank you for the thousands of messages of love and support. I’m fine, just in a lot of pain and swollen, but at home with @stavrosagapiou and the dogs in care, I can’t thank you all enough for the outpouring of support, remember you can’t hold a good man down x. ‘
Tony said in the clip: ‘I’m just doing a quick facial update as you can see the swelling is going down but I’m doing well. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the messages I’ve received – I’m overwhelmed.
He will be seen performing in November

He continued: “I’m absolutely upset, I’m upset that this happened, I’m upset that people choose violence, especially when what we do comes from a place of love.”
‘Things happen in life. The police are doing what they need to do and the situation will be resolved, but all I want to say right now is: thank you for the love and positivity.”
Tony and Stavros got engaged last year.
Last October, Tony shared a sweet video on Instagram looking excited as Stavros said yes after getting down on one knee in front of a fountain in Central Park.
He wrote, “If you find true happiness in life, don’t let it go today. I can truly say that I am the happiest I have ever been.
“I went to Central Park, to this magical fountain and asked the man who changed my life in so many ways and showed me that I can be loved and how much I want to marry me and complete me, and he said YES, that’s me. so overwhelmed with joy.”
Meanwhile, his partner shared a loved-up photo of the pair in bed and wrote: ‘Sunrise in bed with the FIANCÉ’
The couple’s celeb friends rushed to the comments section to congratulate them, with Gemma Collins writing: ‘Crying tears of joy to you both I’m so happy CONGRATULATIONS’
