When the woman noticed the camera, she reportedly expressed distress, said “no” and objected to being recorded, the complaint said.
Other videos allegedly show women visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs being manipulated into sexual acts by the brothers or others, sometimes without actively participating or giving the appearance of consent, the filing said.
Prosecutors now argue that the newly discovered evidence, combined with previous allegations, demonstrates the “depraved nature” of the defendants’ behavior – and the threat they pose to the public.
Wednesday’s detention hearing will determine whether the brothers remain in custody as the case progresses.
All three brothers have pleaded not guilty and plan to ask U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni to let them await trial on house arrest in Miami, NBC reported.
A Dec. 11 indictment alleges that the Alexander brothers “worked together and with others to engage in sex trafficking, including by repeatedly drugging, sexually assaulting and raping dozens of female victims.”

“The charges laid out in this indictment reflect some of the most heinous and dehumanizing crimes of sexual exploitation that our NYPD detectives investigate,” said NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch.
