Disturbing figure is spotted on dark and lonely Nebraska roads straight after two separate car crashes
A terrifying figure has appeared along the dark, lonely roads of Nebraska to try to lure crash victims into his car.
Several people driving on Highway 36 just outside Bennington are left shaken after hitting objects on the road and spiraling out of control.
Their horrors have only been exacerbated by a mysterious figure who has consistently appeared on the scene immediately after the incidents.
It always happens at night. His car is parked at a nearby intersection, with the lights on but the engine off, apparently waiting for victims.
Saturday night, Garrison Beach was driving in Douglas County when he had to swerve to avoid a piece of metal in the middle of the asphalt.
As he did so, he overcorrected and his Toyota Camry ended up crashing through a guardrail and into a ravine, while his wife Skylar rode shotgun.
However, their nightmare was just beginning, with a strange figure spotted by the couple standing at the top of the ravine immediately after their horrific crash.
As he recounted the strange encounter, Harrison said WOW: ‘As soon as we got out of the car, I remember walking up the embankment and this man appeared.

Saturday night, Garrison and Skylar Beach, seen here, were driving on a road in Douglas County when they had to swerve to avoid a piece of metal in the middle of the asphalt.
‘He was already there on the side of the road waiting for us and [he said]”Are you guys okay? I already called the ambulance.”
The man asked them to wait for emergency services in his own car, which they had seen at an intersection with the lights on, apparently looking at the road.
The nervous couple declined, with Skylar telling the outlet, “It was just really strange. He was there when we got out of the car.
“Since our car was in the ravine, no one would know we were down there. It was strange how quickly he showed up, as if he saw everything happening
‘As soon as we said, “No, we’re going to wait for the police,” he just walked back to his car.
‘It was quite scary. I remember screaming and I wasn’t sure when we were going to roll, but we were lucky enough to walk away from the accident.
Garrison recalled, “I didn’t want to [crash] head-on into a big piece of metal in the middle of the road going 50 to 60 miles per hour, so I just tried to swerve.”
The man left the scene before they could get his name, but it appears this type of behavior has happened before on the exact same stretch of road.

Sklyar told the outlet that the couple wanted answers about what was going on
Kyle Sorenson had a nearly identical story from the Beach couple, with his vehicle hitting a child’s bicycle left in the middle of the road.
Sorenson recalled at the outlet that immediately after colliding with it, the man appeared behind him in his vehicle.
He told the outlet, “I hit a child’s bicycle that was left in the middle of the road. When I looked in my rearview mirror, I saw someone sitting on Pawnee Road.
“They pulled up behind me and it was this person who said he was checking if we were okay.”
After seeing little damage to his vehicle, Sorenson left the scene unharmed, but his wife later saw the man following a car that was leaking oil on the highway.
Sorenson added, “In two weeks, this was three incidents where he was immediately the first person on the scene.”
After Garrison and Skylar’s crash, Sorenson, their good friend, decided to report the incident to the police.
He said: ‘I didn’t really want to confront the person but I informed the police. “I don’t want to accuse and say this person is absolutely doing this, but I want to make you aware that this is strange.”

After similar incidents, the Beaches are now wondering whether the metal they were trying to avoid was deliberately placed there by the man who offered help.
Skylar said, “We definitely want answers as to why he does what he does. We just don’t want this to keep happening to other people, or for something even worse to happen.”
It has since emerged that an unnamed couple collided with a wooden kitchen chair that was left upright in the middle of the track in late October.
The couple spoke to WOWT and said that immediately after their crash, a man in his 20s showed up to view the damage. They say they quickly fled the area and have not been named.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating the multiple incidents involving objects in the roadways and says they believe there is a potential suspect.
County Sheriff Aaron Hanson said, “Over the past 30 days, the Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of a concerning trend of obstructions on roadways in the Bennington area.
‘We have a potential suspect in mind and are currently continuing the investigation. We have an interesting topic that we want to delve into.’
