Distraught couple lead Rottweilers away after they killed girl, 5, at family’s stunning $2m California mansion

A distraught couple was seen leading their Rottweilers away after beating a little girl to death in their $2 million Californian mansion.

The girl, who has not yet been identified, was attacked by the family’s dogs on Sunday at their home in a gated community in Covina, near Los Angeles.

She was pronounced dead in hospital after the brutal attack in the backyard.

Police said a 10-year-old Rottweiler and a six-year-old Rottweiler mix are responsible for the attack.

Another family member reportedly suffered minor incidents.

Harrowing footage from the scene showed the couple leading the dogs out of the house as officials took them away.

Officials said the girl has lived in the home with the dogs her entire life and there were no previous incidents.

The police have opened an investigation into the fatal incident.
