It’s Jake Short from ANT Farm and Mighty Med!
Short played artistic genius Fletcher Quimbly in ANT Farm, a series that followed young students enrolled in a gifted program called the Advanced Natural Talents at a high school.
For three years he also starred in Mighty Med, a series about the adventures of two children who work in a secret hospital for superheroes.
He has continued to act ever since.
Among the many credits on his resume, he starred in the 2022 Hulu original film Sex Appeal and the 2020 BBC series The First Team.
His most recent credited role was in the Brie Larson-led series Lessons In Chemistry. He played a character named Ralph Bailey in the episode Living Dead Things.
Although it has been ten years since the last episode of Mighty Med aired, Short has continued to work with his former co-star, Bradley Steven Perry. The duo recently launched a podcast called The Sit and Chat.
“A podcast from two former costars and now lifelong friends, The Sit and Chat brings everyone together with laughter and life’s pressing questions for fellow dreamers,” reads a synopsis for the show.

Short plugged his podcast on his Instagram with a photo of him and Perry in the studio.
‘The boys are still in town, but back with a new capsule! Check out our new podcast “The Sit and Chat” – available everywhere soon (but for now it’s only on YouTube, so head over and subscribe). The episodes will be broadcast every Monday at the end of this month. I’m excited to be back and share our wonderful guests with all of you!’ he captioned the post.
In his latest photo, the actor appeared to be enjoying some well-deserved time off from work as he hit the golf course.
“I think I might have to start posting golf content – I put an eagle in the same hole where this photo was taken,” he captioned the post, along with the hashtags, “#golf #loser #eagle #hugeloser.”
