Earlier this year, a woman had a cockroach removed from her vagina after going to the doctor complaining of an “extremely strange” sensation in her genitals.
The patient, whose name has not been released, visited the clinic in Honduras and complained of feeling “extremely restless, agitated and sweaty.”
She hadn’t been able to sleep the previous night either and said it felt like there was something “extremely strange” in her vagina.
Doctors were stunned when an examination revealed that the dead insect was inside her.
This was immediately removed and the woman was discharged after checking for injuries.
