Disgusting moment McDonald’s customer sees MAGGOTS crawling around her Big Mac burger

A distraught mother claims she found maggots wriggling in her McDonalds burger, leaving her ‘so sick’.

The anonymous American woman, who used TikTok, said she was treating herself to a Big Mac at a US branch when she reportedly made the gruesome discovery.

After she finished her meal, her stomach started hurting ‘immediately’ and she abruptly stopped eating.

It wasn’t until she opened her hamburger bun that she discovered white “worms” in her meal.

In the sickening video posted to the platform, the disgusting maggots can be seen wriggling on the beef burger.

After she finished her meal, her stomach started hurting “immediately” and she stopped abruptly. It wasn’t until she opened her burger bun, she says, that she found white “little worms” in her meal

The account, known only as @FresaConCrema313told her TikTok followers, “I ate it right away. My stomach started hurting right away.

‘When I got home I didn’t feel well.

‘I found these little worms in my Big Mac. I’m so disgusted. There were about 10 more when I first opened it.

“They all went back into the burger. Look at that. I ate that.”

She added: ‘I can’t believe this. No wonder I’m so sick — I’ve never felt so sick in my life.

“I’m running to the bathroom every 15 minutes. I’ve lost seven pounds since eating this.

‘I didn’t know you could lose weight from McDonald’s.

‘Now it’s clear. I have to decide whether I have to go to the hospital or not.’

MailOnline has asked McDonalds for comment.

But it is not the first time that the fast food chain has come under fire after maggots were allegedly found in the ketchup.

Last year, a mother of two vowed never to eat at McDonalds again after finding what she thought was a maggot in her hash brown at a branch near Poole.

In 2022, another mother claimed she saw maggots “writhing” in a ketchup dispenser at a branch in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, while ordering food for her children.

According to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), Britons experience around 2.4 million cases of food poisoning each year, costing the UK around £9 billion annually.

In the US, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that approximately 48 million people become ill from food poisoning each year.

Of these, 128,000 are admitted to hospital. In about 3,000 cases it is also fatal.
