Shameful act at McDonald’s is caught on video – and Aussies are not impressed: ‘Putrid’
- Teenagers walk behind the counter at fast food restaurants
- Videos show McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s in Melbourne
- The teens harass the staff, touching food and taking drinks
Young Aussies are deliberately irritating and disrespecting McDonald’s employees as part of a bizarre new trend emerging on social media.
As part of the prank, the teens sneak into the kitchens and work areas of the restaurants, pretending to work at the restaurant.
A series of videos posted to social media show a group of Melbourne teenagers harassing staff at McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s restaurants in Roxburgh Park, 13 miles north of the city’s CBD.
You can hear McDonald’s employees yelling at the teens to “get out” as they cross behind the counter.

In a video shared on TikTok by user Jamal Omar (pictured), a group of teenagers are seen harassing staff at McDonald’s in Roxburgh Park, north of Melbourne’s CBD
‘Can you get out? Seriously out! If you don’t get out, I’ll call the police,” an employee threatened.
A teenager walks through the kitchen and even makes his way to the drive-through window where he sticks his head out and waves to the driver waiting to pay for their food.
He then tells the staff that the group is there for their first shift before the McDonald’s employee threatens to call the police a second time.
“Get out before I call the police,” the employee said.
“Grow the f**k up and get out now,” you hear another McDonald’s employee yell.
In another video, the group plays the same prank on the Hungry Jacks staff.
They then walk through the fast food chain’s kitchen as a teenager pours himself a blue slushy while a young worker watches helplessly.
The teen is heard yelling “slurpy coming up” as he goes behind the tills before serving the drink to his group of friends.
The young man is next seen putting pineapple and onion rings into the deep fryer before grabbing hamburger buns with his hands.
He is then seen putting his hands in an open container of food before attempting to pour himself a drink, but is stopped by an employee.
“Zack that’s stealing,” you hear his friends yell as the teen tries to pour himself a slushy.
Many Aussies have dismissed the joke as ‘disrespectful’.

“I don’t understand how this is amusing? Instead of disrespecting people at work, maybe you could apply and do something useful,” one person wrote.
Another added, “bunch delinquents.”
“Disgusting,” added a third.
“Imagine doing this in the month of Ramadan. Rotten. May Allah bless those workers.
