Disgraced Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade claims EVERYONE is having an office affair because it is ‘as American as apple pie’ but is furious his fling with DA Fani Willis overshadowed election-interference case

Scandal-hit special prosecutor Nathan Wade has spoken publicly for the first time after dropping his ex-lover and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ case against Donald Trump.

Wade was at the center of a bitter divorce case, in which it was revealed he was dating Willis. The scandal rocked the county’s election interference case against Trump and Wade was forced to resign as top prosecutor.

During his first interview since being fired, he seemed resentful and unapologetic about his relationship with Willis.

“Workplace romances are as American as apple pie,” he said ABC news. ‘It happens to everyone. But it happened to both of us.”

Wade was a little more willing to express his regret when asked if he was unhappy with the way things turned out, but he was still wary.

“I regret that this private matter has become the focus of this very important prosecution,” he said ABC news. “This is a very important matter.”

“I hate that my personal life is starting to overshadow the real issues in this case.”

He also said he tried to put aside his feelings for Willis given the importance of the case, but said his “feelings are so strong.”

‘Absolutely, absolutely. I agree that could have been an approach,” Wade said.

“But also there, when you’re in the middle of it, these feelings develop and you get to a point where the feelings are so strong that, you know, you start doing things that are actually none of those things. the public’s concern.’

Willis’ conduct was investigated in a series of sensational hearings, with High Court Judge Scott McAfee ultimately convicting her of a ‘massive error of judgement’ and of ‘unprofessional conduct’.

Wade has not yet responded to allegations of contempt of court by his estranged wife in a divorce filing in April.

Joycelyn Wade made the accusation in lawsuits, claiming her former partner had failed to pay her $4,400 in medical bills.

“The suspect urgently needs medical procedures, namely an endoscopy, colonoscopy and ultrasound, due to the serious physical complaints she is experiencing,” the documents state.

‘These symptoms have significantly affected her ability to consume most foods, leading to significant weight loss.’

She claims she has been unable to pay the bills herself since Wade stopped paying child support for their two children.

However, she escaped with just a slap on the wrist after McAfee dramatically ruled that she could remain in the Trump election interference case if Wade recused himself.
