Wolves striker Diego Costa has returned to his old playful antics as he and Adama Traore were filmed teasing their teammate Matheus Cunha.

The 34-year-old has developed a reputation as a prankster throughout his career and at 34 years old there are no clear signs that this is something that will go away.

Cunha will certainly have heard stories that Costa joined Atletico Madrid months after the Spain international left the club. Cunha joined Costa at Wolves in January – in a loan deal that will become permanent from the LaLiga side.

Cunha didn’t realize he would have to worry about Traore too, as the speedy winger joined Costa in bullying the youngster.

Cunha initially laughs off Costa before deciding to wrestle him as well, before the Spain international pushes him away towards Traore.

Traore then immediately throws a friendly punch, before swinging a few more at Cunha as he retreats against the wall and then to the floor.

Thankfully, everyone seemed to enjoy the incident, with Cunha seeing the lighter side of the incident despite being playfully “beaten up.”

Cunha’s loan deal with Wolves was announced at the end of December and it was just under a month after footage first showed him falling victim to one of Costa’s pranks.

During a training session in the middle of a cold snap in January, Costa rolled some snow off the ground, before tucking it away as he headed to the club’s training building.

Cunha was talking to Costa as they went inside, but the 34-year-old striker took a snowball from his pocket and pelted his Wolves team-mate with the cold projectile.

Wolves tweeted the incident with, “More Diego Costa antics.”, alongside a crying smile emoji and a snowflake.

Costa has made headlines over the years with his antics.
