Diddy’s prediction about his wild parties from 25 years ago resurfaces after sex trafficking arrest

There’s one interview from 1999 that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will remember for a long time.

The rapper said Entertainment tonight that he feared he would one day be arrested for his ‘crazy parties’.

His wild parties – not to be confused with his lurid Freak Offs – have been attended by stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, and even Kim and Khloe Kardashian.

“You’re gonna hear about my parties,” the 54-year-old rap mogul said of his star-studded parties.

“They’re going to take them out. They’re probably going to arrest me, do all kinds of crazy stuff just because we want to have a good time,” Combs added.

There’s a 1999 interview that still haunts Sean “Diddy” Combs. The rapper told Entertainment Tonight that he felt like he was going to get arrested one day for his “crazy parties.” Seen with Tommy Lee in 2007 at his Real White Party in the Hamptons

Diddy said he was judged on adding a “different element” to his parties.

He argued, “When you bring up another element in people’s environment, things that broaden people’s horizons, people get intimidated. There are a lot of people who feel intimidated by that.”

Diddy has been charged with human trafficking and related crimes and is likely to spend about 10 years behind bars.

JLo’s ex added that he struggled to get support for his famous parties.

“They won’t even give me a permit to do the parties anymore,” Diddy said. “They don’t want me to do the parties anymore, but we’re not going to stop. We’re going to keep having fun, bringing people from all walks of life together.”

Combs felt like he connected the different races.

The first White Party was held on September 7, 1998. Paris Hilton described it as “iconic.”

Combs, 54, was arrested last week at a New York City hotel and charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, trafficking in persons by force, fraud or coercion and transportation of persons for the purpose of prostitution.

On Wednesday, Combs was denied bail for the second time.

The star will remain in a Brooklyn jail until his trial in his human trafficking case after another judge refused to accept a $50 million bail offered by his lawyers.

U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr. denied Combs’ request to release him and place him on home confinement with GPS monitoring, citing the hip-hop mogul’s potential to influence witnesses.

Combs pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking charges on September 19.

The rapper appeared in court in Manhattan after being charged with racketeering, conspiracy, trafficking in persons by force, fraud or coercion and transporting persons for prostitution.

When asked during a court hearing how he pleaded to the charge, Combs replied, “Not guilty.”

The rapper’s lawyers subsequently demanded that Combs be released on bail pending trial after he posts $50 million.

However, after a lengthy debate between legal teams over whether Combs poses a flight risk, Judge Robyn Tarnofsky announced that the rapper will remain in custody until his sex trafficking trial begins.

Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo later said the music star is determined to “prove his innocence.”

Agnifilo told reporters outside the courthouse: “He’s going to fight this. He’s innocent. He came to New York to prove his innocence.

“We believe in him with all our hearts. He did not do these things. There is no coercion and no crime.”

According to his attorney, Combs is “not afraid of the charges” he currently faces.

Agnifilo added: ‘He has been looking forward to this day and he has been looking forward to clearing his name.’

Last week it was also announced that the makers of the documentary Quiet On Set are working on a series about Combs.

True crime network Investigation Discovery was behind this year’s documentary, in which a number of former Nickelodeon child actors came forward to allege abuse and a toxic work environment at the hands of producer Dan Schneider.

Now they’ve announced that they’ll be producing a multi-part documentary series in 2025 that will chronicle “the rise and influence of Combs and the allegations of violent behavior and illegal activities that the music mogul has faced.”

In a press release, they added: ‘As stories of sexual abuse, abusive behavior and other disturbing allegations surface, the documentary chronicles the story of this self-proclaimed Bad Boy and exposes allegations of a pattern of depravity.’
