Miami Beach, Florida city officials have stripped Sean “Diddy Combs” of his Key to the City, nine years after the disgraced mogul received the honor.
According to TMZthe city decided to part ways with the 54-year-old rapper due to his declining reputation amid his arrest and the piling up of sexual assault allegations and lawsuits.
An insider told the outlet that the move was made Wednesday during a hearing, which drew a unanimous vote from Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner and the city commission.
However, Meiner still has to sign the resolution, making it official.
The outlet also reported that commissioners Joe Magazine, David Suarez, Tanya Katzoff Bhatt and Alex Fernandez sponsored the decision.

In 2015, former mayor Philip Levine presented the city’s honorary key to Combs during the Revolt Music Conference in Fontainebleau in the vibrant city.
At the time, he was handed the key because of his musical talents and hand in forming the Revolt Music Conference in Miami Beach.
The city has also awarded keys to the city to other Hollywood stars, including Combs’ ex, Jennifer Lopez.
And a few months ago, Combs was also asked to return the key to New York to the city.
The rapper returned the Key to the City to New York City in June after Mayor Eric Adams requested it in a letter.
In his letter, he asked for the key to be recovered after the release of a video showing Combs attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, on hotel surveillance footage and the ensuing controversy.
The mayor sent the controversial rapper a letter in which he stated that he stood by survivors of domestic violence.
He also noted that the Key to the City is awarded to model citizens and said Combs no longer met the selection criteria.
Disturbing images of the Big Apple’s Democratic leader, who is currently facing criminal charges, handing Combs the key resurfaced in September, a year after it was handed to him.
Combs also previously received Chicago’s Key to the City in October 2006, which he received from former Mayor Richard Daley.
It is unclear whether the Windy City has also followed suit by revoking the key.

Combs is currently in a Brooklyn jail after being arrested by federal agents in New York City in mid-September.
He is facing sex trafficking charges and is awaiting his upcoming trial. He also faces more than 100 allegations of sexual misconduct.
Weeks ago, an attorney announced he is representing 120 accusers who have made allegations of sexual misconduct against the hip-hop mogul.
Combs’ trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges is set to begin on May 5, 2025.
