Diddy’s ex Cassie and several other women who have sued him for sexual assault in recent months are reportedly cooperating with federal investigators as an alleged sex trafficking investigation involving the hip-hop mogul heats up.
Cassie, who sued Diddy in November for alleged sexual abuse and years of drug use, has been cooperating with investigators for “several weeks,” sources with direct knowledge said. TMZ on Wednesday.
The timing means the 37-year-old singer may even have cooperated with the FBI in the lead-up to the twin Homeland Security raids on the 54-year-old rapper-turned-executive’s mansions in Los Angeles and Miami.
In a statement after the raids, Diddy’s lawyer Aaron Dyer called them an “unprecedented ambush” and a “witch hunt” against the businessman.
So far, he has not been arrested in connection with the raids, nor has he been charged with any crime.

Sources with knowledge of the investigation said Cassie may have helped authorities establish the probable cause needed to get a judge to sign the search warrants for the two mansions.
Although the content of Cassie’s conversations with investigators is unknown, she is believed to have spoken about the allegations in her lawsuit. Diddy had already calmed down after one day.
In addition to accusing the record label head of rape, sexual assault and physical abuse, she also alleged that he forced her to have sex with male prostitutes while he watched and masturbated.
The rapper allegedly photographed and filmed some of these encounters, and Cassie claimed she was forced to watch recordings of her having sex with other men while under the influence of copious amounts of drugs.
Elsewhere in her suit, the singer claimed that Diddy let her keep his gun in her purse at one point, and she claimed that he blew up rapper Kid Cudi’s car in 2012 in retaliation for a brief relationship he and Cassie had when they were on the work was. the outs with him, which Diddy reportedly told Cassie beforehand that he was planning to do.

The additional accusers may have strengthened authorities’ case, as many of the women’s accusations bore strong similarities to Cassie’s initial set of accusations.
However, it is currently unknown which of the other accusers are cooperating.
Diddy’s former producer Rodney Jones has also filed a lawsuit against him, claiming he witnessed sex trafficking and was groped and threatened while working for the mogul, but it is unknown if he has spoken to federal investigators.
