Diddy responds to upcoming Peacock documentary featuring members of his inner circle

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers have hit out after the trailer for an upcoming documentary about the music mogul was released.

The 55-year-old rapper, who is being held in New York City on charges of sex trafficking and sexual assault, is the subject of the upcoming film Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, released January 14 on Peacock.

The 90-second preview included people claiming to be insiders who were interviewed for the tell-all documentary, giving their version of events.

The film is one of many to be released after his arrest in September 2024.

Combs’ attorneys released a lengthy statement Friday saying, “These documentaries make unverified claims and provide platforms for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence.”

‘Especially in the case of the Peacock documentary, the motivations and credibility of those interviewed must be questioned. Many claim to have knowledge but lack any connection to the truth, while their wild, baseless theories are twisted and sensationalized to appear factual.”

Diddy insiders such as a childhood friend, a former bodyguard and a Making the Band winner give interviews in the Peacock special.

Lawyers for Sean “Diddy” Combs have lashed out against the allegations in a trailer for an upcoming documentary about the music mogul, 55, questioning the “motivations and credibility of those interviewed.”

His former Uptown Records labelmate Al B. Sure!, who was married to the late model Kim Porter before beginning her relationship with Combs, breaks his silence in the documentary.

Porter is the mother of Combs’ three children, Christian, 26, and twins Jessie and D’lila, 18.

The trailer for the special, released Thursday, features footage of the rapper partying at home and in the studio.

“I’ve been with Sean for a while and have captured a lot of moments,” an unidentified source claimed.

‘A studio or a room is always possible [lit with red lighting]he makes love, sex. Some of the girls in the room were definitely underage.”

“They said they could send me away and sell me to anyone,” an unidentified woman added.

Comb’s legal team stated: “Sean Combs unequivocally denies these false allegations, which are harmful, defamatory and not supported by credible evidence.”

“It is deeply concerning how such stories can influence public perception and damage the legal process. Mr. Combs deserves his day in court with an impartial jury, free from the taint of these baseless claims. The facts will be heard in court, where truth – not fiction – will prevail.”

The 90-minute documentary chronicles Combs’ early years, “his decades-long transformation into Puffy and then into Diddy, with crucial insight into the forces that shaped the man and possibly made him a monster,” according to Peacock.

“Sean Combs is a monster,” attorney Lisa Bloom declares in the trailer. Bloom represents Dawn Richards, who sued the rapper for “terrorizing and sexually assaulting” her in a civil case against the rapper.

Combs has pleaded not guilty, and a recent Page Six report said he appeared in court “amazingly thinner” and “grayier” after months away from the lavish lifestyle he and his family were accustomed to.

After a months-long investigation by authorities, he was charged with sex trafficking, extortion and transportation to engage in prostitution – all of which he denies – and a trial date has been set for May 5.

Combs was placed on suicide watch during his first week in custody but was taken off shortly afterwards, with his lawyer claiming his client was “concentrated and very strong.”

He is facing a series of sexual harassment charges and new allegations, including a new lawsuit alleging sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl.

This legal filing, seen by DailyMail.com, claims Diddy “aggressively approached” the young girl with a “crazy look in his eyes” before sexually assaulting her.

She claims that an unnamed male celebrity also raped her while Diddy and an unnamed female celebrity watched.

The rapper has denied these allegations. When asked at the time, his lawyers told DailyMail.com that he has “never sexually assaulted anyone” and said the latest “barrage of charges” were nothing more than “obvious attempts to garner publicity.”
