Australian DJ says infamous Diddy parties were ‘not a secret in the industry’ after the rapper’s high profile sex trafficking arrest
A famous Australian DJ has spoken out about alleged ‘freak-off’ parties hosted by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, as the American rapper faces charges of human trafficking.
DJ Havana Brown said Allan and Carly from HIT WA Tuesday’s radio program that she is convinced that the alleged parties are an open secret in the entertainment industry.
“It’s no secret in the industry at all, what was going on… Absolutely everyone in the industry knew what was going on,” the 39-year-old said.
“I don’t know why it was kept so secret and why no one said anything about it. Like everyone knew about these freak-off parties. Everyone was talking about it.”
Brown says she did not personally attend the parties, but that she was in “awkward” situations.
“I’ve been in situations involving him where I’ve felt very uncomfortable… But not at a freak-off party,” she said.
“I’m too wise to put myself in that situation. I would never do it – it’s too scary for me. I never want to be in a situation where you have to say no, because then they’ll destroy you.”
Diddy has been charged with human trafficking and related crimes and is likely to spend about 10 years behind bars if found guilty.

Combs, 54, was arrested last week at a New York City hotel and charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, trafficking in persons by force, fraud or coercion and transportation of persons for the purpose of prostitution.
On Wednesday, Combs was denied bail for the second time.
The star will remain in a Brooklyn jail until his trial in his human trafficking case after another judge refused to accept a $50 million bail offered by his lawyers.
U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr. denied Combs’ request to release him and place him on home confinement with GPS monitoring, citing the hip-hop mogul’s potential to influence witnesses.
Combs pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking charges on September 19.
The rapper appeared in court in Manhattan after being charged with racketeering, conspiracy, trafficking in persons by force, fraud or coercion and transporting persons for prostitution.
“I don’t know why it was kept so secret and why no one said anything about it. Like everyone knew about these freak-off parties. Everyone was talking about it,” the DJ added

When asked during a court hearing how he pleaded to the charge, Combs replied, “Not guilty.”
The rapper’s lawyers subsequently demanded that Combs be released on bail pending trial after he posts $50 million.
However, after a lengthy debate between legal teams over whether Combs poses a flight risk, Judge Robyn Tarnofsky announced that the rapper will remain in custody until his sex trafficking trial begins.
Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo later said the music star is determined to “prove his innocence.”
Agnifilo told reporters outside the courthouse: “He’s going to fight this. He’s innocent. He came to New York to prove his innocence.
“We believe in him with all our hearts. He did not do these things. There is no coercion and no crime.”
According to his attorney, Combs is “not afraid of the charges” he currently faces.
Agnifilo added: ‘He has been looking forward to this day and he has been looking forward to clearing his name.’
