Why ‘paranoid’ Diddy isn’t eating in jail where he is being held with Sam Bankman-Fried

According to a former inmate, Sean “Diddy” Combs is afraid someone might poison him and refuses to eat prison food.

Larry Levine, who served a sentence at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where Diddy has been held since his sensational arrest last week, said he has a “source” with knowledge of the situation inside the center.

“Imagine if someone paid someone on the inside to poison his food, give him a heart attack and he dies,” Levine told Ashleigh Banfield of NewsNation.

According to him, Diddy refused to eat out of fear and paranoia that he now had a target on his back.

“If someone comes to one of the prison guards, and this could happen. They don’t make a lot of money and there are people he has that do make a lot of money.”

Diddy was arrested and charged with years of coercion and abuse, using blackmail and violence to control his victims.

He is also accused of inducing female victims and male sex workers to engage in sexual acts, sometimes lasting for days under the influence of drugs, known as ‘Freak Offs’.

“He’s really, really paranoid. He’s really, really scared. He doesn’t know what to think, he doesn’t know who to trust or what to believe,” Levine said.

Diddy is reportedly staying in the same apartment as crypto scammer Sam Bankman-Fried.

There is reportedly room for 18 to 20 prisoners in this area. The space is generally reserved for high-ranking individuals or those who cooperate with the authorities.

Bankman-Fried was found guilty of fraud in late 2023 and sentenced to 25 years in prison.

According to Levine, since his arrest, Diddy has had a religious visit and a consultation with a dietician, and has had multiple daily visits from a mental health physician.

“He’s still under surveillance for suicide. A psychiatrist visits him several times a day.”

According to Levine, it was not uncommon for new inmates to protest the food provided.

Since Diddy is being held in isolation, Levine has learned firsthand that the food he is served is likely to be cold and grim.

“They’re feeding people in the shoe last,” he said. “The food is bland, it’s high in carbohydrates. It fills you up, but it makes you sick.

“There’s mold in a lot of that food. Maybe he got sick from the food, that’s a possibility too.”

Combs pleaded not guilty to the charges against him last week and was denied bail despite his legal team’s request for $50 million in bail and digital surveillance.

The artist is accused of using “power and prestige” to lure and intimidate women “under the pretext of a romantic relationship.”

Prosecutors say they have interviewed more than 50 victims and witnesses and expect that number to increase.
