Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will not attend the 2024 Grammys due to the sexual assault allegations against him.
The 54-year-old rapper will skip next month’s award show on February 4, despite being nominated in the Best Progressive R&B Album category for The Love Album: Off the Grid.
According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter published Friday, he was not uninvited, but he is choosing not to attend due to the seriousness of the allegations.
In November, less than a week after the Grammy nominations were announced, Cassie sued her former record label boss and ex-boyfriend, alleging he subjected her to physical and sexual abuse during their decade-long relationship.
The former couple was eventually able to settle the case quickly, but more lawsuits from other women have emerged – all of which Diddy has “vehemently” denied.

According to legal documents from Cassie’s lawsuit, she alleged that Diddy was “prone to uncontrollable anger and frequently viciously beat Ms. Ventura.”
The bombshell case was dismissed just a day later when she reached a settlement with the rapper – with whom Cassie had an on-again, off-again relationship from 2007 to 2018.
In a statement shared to Page Six in the following days, she said: “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms where I have some control.
“I would like to thank my family, fans and advocates for their continued support,” she added.
Diddy issued a similar separate statement around the same time.
“We have decided to resolve this matter amicably,” the record producer said. “I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.’
Cassie also agreed to dismiss her case “with prejudice and without costs or fees to either party.”
However, more allegations and lawsuits emerged with women claiming he sexually assaulted them as well.
