“Many fans say the obvious discomfort with Bono’s body language all those years ago is a sign that he knew something was wrong with Diddy,” an insider told the paper.

The source clarified that at the time, Bono knew nothing about what Combs did or the allegations against him.

“There’s no way he knew the depths of his depravity, otherwise he would have said something, but there was no way Bono would let him near him, even ten years ago.”

The insider added, stressing, “He still shudders at the thought of it.”
