50 Cent led the first wave of Hollywood stars reacting to the news that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ homes were raided by federal agents amid their long-running feud.

On Monday, March 25, Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were surrounded by Homeland Security agents as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

Rapper 50 Cent, 48, was quick to repost coverage of the raid, writing: “S*** just got real. The Feds are in all the cribs, they’ve got the kids in cuffs.

His post marked another step in the timeline of his feud with Diddy, which has been going on for almost two decades.

The rapper shared an article on Instagram about Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami being surrounded by Homeland Security agents, saying that “they don’t come like this unless they have a case”

It just got real. The Fed is in all the cribs, damn, they cuffed the kids,” the rapper wrote in another post

2006

The long feud between the two rappers began in 2006, when 50 Cent released his single The Bomb, which seemed to suggest that Diddy had inside information about the 1997 murder of Notorious B.I.G.

A chorus from the song goes: ‘Who shot Biggie Smalls? We don’t understand them. They’re going to kill us all. Man, Puffy knows who hit that idiot.”

This apparent accusation came despite the fact that 50 Cent had never had proof of Diddy’s involvement in Biggie Smalls’ murder, with the case officially remaining unsolved to this day.

Diddy, meanwhile, has repeatedly denied having any information about the killer.

2014

The pair continued to trade blows and insults on social media and in their own songs for years, before their feud escalated in 2014 when they were chosen by rival vodka brands to act as brand ambassadors.

Diddy has been co-owner of the well-known brand Ciroc since 2007, seven years before 50 Cent represented the Dutch brand Effen Vodka.

“Puff’s isn’t even vodka. It’s grapes (and) it says ‘made with vodka’, you know what I mean?’ 50 Cent commented when he appeared on the Drink Champs podcast in 2018.

‘(Effen) is made from wheat from the Netherlands and distilled five times, so it contains much less sugar, properly.

“And later, when you have a headache because you’ve finished your full bottle of Ciroc… I told you I was smarter.”

50 Cent sold his stake in Effen Vodka in 2017 for a reported $60 million.

Announcing the news on Instagram at the time, he wrote: ‘I have the bag, EFFEN Vodka, you can say 60 million, because they like to count my money. LOL’.

2018

In 2018, 50 Cent further strained relations between the two rappers after claiming Diddy is “fruity.”

On an episode of The Breakfast Club podcast, he said: ‘When he says things, he doesn’t even know what he’s saying, it’s fruity.

‘What are you talking about? When people say that to me, I get a little uncomfortable.’

50 Cent continued, “He said something to me a long time ago, at Chris Lighty’s wedding. He told me he was going to take me shopping. I looked at him like,

‘What did you just say? Let me move, man, before I do anything. You’re making me ruin the wedding.’ No. That’s something a boy says to a girl.’

Surprisingly, Diddy responded by quashing rumors of any turmoil between the couple by saying that 50 Cent “loves him.”

‘I have nothing to do with Fif. He loves me,” Diddy said during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.

‘You can’t see that he loves me? Do you really think that’s hate? You know he loves me.”

2022

In September 2022, 50 Cent was outraged by his former partner Daphne Joy’s decision to attend Diddy’s iHeartRadio Music Festival set, footage of which she shared via her social media channels.

However, Joy was unhappy with 50 Cent’s actions and chose to respond with a response of her own on Instagram, writing: ‘Please stop doing this to me.

‘I never bother you and I am an excellent mother to our son. Can we please focus on that? Please’. The comment has now been removed from the platform.

2023

Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit against him in November 2023, claiming she was sexually abused and physically abused for a decade.

He denied the allegations before settling a day after Cassie filed them.

Diddy denied other claims after more individuals came forward with similar allegations, before choosing to step down as chairman of his company Revolt.

50 Cent, meanwhile, has further fueled the fiery feud between the pair when he expressed his desire to take over the company himself.

“I’ll give you a few dollars for it now!” Sell it to me and we can be friends. I’m serious, call my phone.’

Two of Diddy’s properties in Los Angeles and Miami were searched by federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations and other law enforcement on Monday, March 25, as part of sex trafficking investigations.

The rapper, who is facing mounting lawsuits for sexual harassment and rape, was nowhere to be found as officers searched his property and removed boxes and bags of evidence.

On Thursday, March 28, just days after 50 Cent publicly mocked Diddy for his alleged involvement in the sex trafficking scandal, 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy accused him of rape, physical abuse and being an absent father to their son Sire.

50 Cent’s anger was likely fueled by the revelation that Joy was identified as the ‘sex worker’ named in the bombshell lawsuit filed against Diddy by an ex-employee – Joy has firmly denied the accusation, calling it ‘character assassination ‘.

Joy dropped the rape charges after 50 Cent wanted sole custody of their son.

In text written on a black background on Instagram, Joy criticized her ex: “Let’s put the real focus on your real evil actions, which is raping and physically abusing me.

“You are no longer my oppressor and my God will deal with you from now on. You have forever damaged the last hope I had for you as a father.’
