Did YOU spot Margot Robbie’s very low profile husband Tom Ackerley in the Harry Potter movies? The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance revealed
It’s no secret that Margot Robbie is a huge fan of the Harry Potter franchise. She’s been open about her obsession with the wizarding world on multiple occasions.
But the Hollywood megastar’s producer and husband, Tom Ackerley, also made his own appearance in the popular films.
Margot’s 34-year-old British partner was an extra in 2004’s Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban. He played a student at his beloved Hogwarts. In a scene you won’t soon miss, he was mercilessly pushed aside by Draco.
The resurfaced clip comes after it was revealed that the couple, who met in 2013 on the set of WWII drama Suite Française, are expecting their first child together.
Margot first talked about this fun fact when she appeared on The Graham Norton Show in 2020.

“My husband is in the Harry Potter films,” the 34-year-old actress proudly told Graham.
She joked, “I know, I was like, ‘If you had told me sooner, we would have gotten married really quickly.'”
Margot explained further, “He was an extra. When he was a little kid, he was one of the Slytherin extras. In the third book, when Draco pushes some kids aside to see Buckbeak, he pushes my husband aside.”
The star seemed very happy about this, as she has always spoken openly about her fascination with the Harry Potter franchise.
In 2016, the two-time Oscar nominee revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she once purchased a pair of glasses to look like The Boy Who Lived.
She shared an old photo of herself reading Harry Potter when she was 13, admitting that she lied about her eyesight to buy the glasses.
‘I’m having a cup of tea, I’m lying in bed, I’m really enjoying reading Harry Potter, I’ve got braces, which I’ve had for two years, I’ve always loved combing my hair back – God knows why – and I wear glasses, which I don’t really need.’
“I have 20/20 vision, and I lied to get glasses!” she added.

“Really?” Jimmy asked in surprise, to which Margot replied, “So I could look like Harry Potter!”
Margot and Tom met in 2014, married in 2016, and have co-produced a number of projects, including Hulu’s Dollface, through their production company LuckyCap Entertainment.
They first met while working on Suite Française in 2013, where he was an assistant director and she was in front of the camera.
“I was the ultimate single person. The idea of relationships made me sick,” she said People earlier about their early romance.
‘And then this came to me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me again. Don’t make it weird, Margot.
“Don’t be stupid and tell him you like him. And then it happened, and I thought, Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, like nothing has ever made sense before,” she said.
The following year, in 2014, they started a relationship and in 2016 they got married.
The couple has largely kept their relationship hidden from the public eye, only appearing on the red carpet together in 2017, nearly a year after their wedding.
They have collaborated on several projects including I, Tonya, Birds of Prey and Barbie.
