Perhaps there is an answer for those trying to make the connections Lily Allen laid out in her last podcast interview.
Lily has inevitably sparked wild speculation about the identity of a “successful and incredibly beautiful” A-list star who reportedly warned her about their musician boyfriend.
Allen, now 39, is happily married to Stranger Things star David Harbour. He was 24 when the alleged incident occurred during preparations for a charity event in 2009.
The alleged incident prompted Allen to seek revenge at a later awards ceremony, but the singer maintains she has since forgiven the unknown celebrity and has publicly apologized for her “extremely childish” behavior.
“I’m forgiven for everything. But she’s probably just finding out. So if you’re listening and you recognize yourself in this story, I’m sorry. It was very childish.”

Speaking of her Miss me? podcast, the mother of two claims she was confronted by a female celebrity who was “older” and “more successful and famous” than herself after she was asked to perform at the event with the mystery star’s musical boyfriend.
According to Allen, the anonymous star allegedly told her: “If you think I’m going to leave you alone with my f***ing boyfriend, you’re wrong,” before becoming determined to “get her back one day.”
Allen does not name the woman in question, but it could be supermodel Kate Moss.
The British star attended the charity fundraiser Hoping’s Got Talent, an event organised by Moss and held at London’s Café de Paris in 2009.
That night, Allen helped raise £48,350 for the children’s charity The Hoping Foundation. He took to the stage with Moss’ then-boyfriend Jamie Hince, guitarist with the rock band The Kills, to perform Dream A Little Dream Of Me.
The X Factor themed event was also attended by stars including Guy Ritchie, Jemima Khan, Will Young, Tracy Emin and David Walliams, with guests raising money for projects for children in Palestinian refugee camps.
Moss eventually married Hince in 2011 in an intimate ceremony at St Peter’s Church in Gloucestershire, before filing for divorce five years later.
Allen said Monday that she was sent to the home of teetotaler Sir Elton John in an attempt to curb her excessive drinking, after the A-list female star asked her for a favor to raise money for charity.

She continued: ‘That was when I was managing Elton John’s company and was sent to his house in the South of France to dry out for a few weeks.
‘And while I was there, I got a call from someone who was very famous at the time. She asked if I would perform at a charity event that she was involved with. She asked me to sing a song with her friend, who was a musician.
‘I said, “I would love to, but it’s next week and I don’t have time to rehearse because I’m in the South of France.” She said, “Don’t worry, we’ll come over there and we’ll rehearse with you.”‘
She said, ‘They’re coming to the South of France, they arrive and it’s late afternoon. Then she says, “I think you should sing The Sound of Silence.”
‘And I thought, “Ooh, I don’t know, I really don’t want to do that — that’s out of my comfort zone.” And she got the hump.
“I thought, ‘I think we’d be better off with something like Something Stupid.’”
“I said, ‘Look, I’m going to go downstairs with your boyfriend and we’ll practice the song and then we’ll come back up and sing it for you and see what you think.’”
While she declined to name names, she said the mystery star was “incredibly beautiful,” “older” and “more successful and famous” than her, while her then-boyfriend was a musician

“And she said, ‘If you think I’m going to leave you alone with my fucking boyfriend, you’re wrong.'”
Allen said she was shocked by the incident, but decided to turn her feelings into revenge.
She said, ‘I was alone in this house, the two of us, just me. She was a lot older than me, and a lot more famous and successful. I just thought, “I’m stuck and you’ve fooled me.”‘
And I thought, “I’m going to keep this feeling, I’m going to remember it, and I’m going to have you back one day.”
“Her boyfriend was not someone I found remotely attractive and she was incredibly beautiful – and still is – and should not have seen me as a threat. I was definitely in my bloated, uptight phase.”
A few weeks later, she was approached at an awards ceremony to accept a prestigious award.
Allen recalls: ‘And then they said, “Is there anyone you would like to present this award to?” I asked, “At what point in the process is this award given?” And they said, it’s the penultimate award.

Despite the previous bad relationships, Lily insisted she had now forgiven the unknown celebrity and publicly apologized for her “particularly petty behavior” (pictured last week)
‘I thought, “There’s no way this person can hold her own for that long and if I stay sober, she’s going to have to present me with the award looking flawless and brilliant and her looking completely screwed.”‘
She added that her plan was a success, saying: ‘And it f***ing worked. The next day the front pages of the papers were like, “So and so was a complete mess”, and then pictures of me with my prize came out.’
The anecdote also references Moss presenting Allen with the Women Of The Year award at the 2009 GQ Awards.
The event did not end well for Moss. She is pictured walking away after actor James Nesbitt made a racy joke about her. Later photos draw attention to her blemished skin.
Looking back on the incident, Allen said, “I actually like that person now. It was just a particularly bad phase that we were both going through at the time.
“I’m forgiven for everything. But she’s probably just finding out. So if you’re listening and you recognize yourself in this story, I’m sorry. It was very childish.”
