Dick Van Dyke drove his car into a gate in Malibu after his Lexus slipped in the rain.
Dick, 97, lost control of the car before crashing into the fence, leaving the actor with a nosebleed and possibly a concussion.
The accident happened Wednesday morning in Malibu and police officers arrived on the scene and found Dick behind the wheel of his Lexus LS 500, reports TMZ.
The star of Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang told police his car had skidded in the rain and that he lost control of the wheel before the Lexus crashed into the fence.
The crash came nearly a decade after Dick was involved in another car crash that saw him rescued from his burning Jaguar in Los Angeles.

In his latest crash, Dick was treated at the scene by paramedics as he suffered a nose and mouth bleed and a possible concussion. Dick was not sent to hospital and was picked up by a friend and driven home.
Sources told TMZ that no drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident, but police officers have requested a re-exam for Dick due to his age.
The crash came ten years after Dick was pulled from his Jaguar on August 19, 2013 after it caught fire on the 101 freeway in LA’s Calabasas.
A man named Jason Pennington saved the day after seeing the car full of smoke on the side of the road.
Pennington told TMZ at the time that he saw an elderly man bending over the wheel of the vehicle and rushing to the scene.
He stopped to see the actor struggling inside after running towards the smoking car.
Dick did not require medical attention after the incident, although he was apparently somewhat disoriented.
In December, Dick turned 97 and jokingly told DailyMail.com, “Well, if I’d known I was going to live that long, I would have taken better care of myself!”
When asked what his secret to living a long and healthy life is, he laughed and added, “Well, I don’t know, all my friends are dead, so I’m not going to complain!”
The actor, whose on-screen career spans seven decades, remains active and vibrant despite his advanced age, as he is often seen walking around his neighborhood in Malibu, usually going to the drugstore or supermarket on his own.
