Dick Van Dyke was pictured Tuesday buying a TV from a target in Santa Monica, California, about a month after he was involved in a car accident in nearby Malibu.
The veteran entertainer, 97, was with his wife Arlene Silver, 51, on the outing, which came after filming a cameo for the soap opera Days of Our Lives earlier this month.
The West Plains, Missouri-born actor was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, navy blue athletic pants and black shoes when he was spotted shopping for electronics at the store.
The Mary Poppins star carried a cane on the outing alongside his wife, who was dressed in a dark top that read ‘Happy’ across the front, along with black trousers and shoes.

The actor was driving his wife in his Jaguar when the car caught fire and both he and his wife had to be rescued by passersby outside Calabasas.
While both Dick and his wife were unharmed, their vehicle burned completely down to its frame.
As for this last wreck, Van Dyke told TMZ just days after the accident, he felt “fine” although he admitted that he was “hurting all over”.
He added: “The airbags didn’t deploy, so I just planted a face in the steering wheel and it just kind of dumbed me down.”
When asked about concerns about his health, Van Dyke shrugged them off, adding, “I’m 97 — all my friends are dead.”
The comedy legend told fans he still held on, “quite well,” though sources claim Arlene doesn’t want to test her luck, which is why she took his keys.
