Strictly’s Dianne Buswell joked that if people “value their marriage,” they shouldn’t be on the BBC dance show.

The dancer, 34, made the comment during a recent guest appearance on TV comedy show Meet The Richardsons.

Dianne herself fell victim to the famous ‘curse’ when she met her current boyfriend Joe Sugg on the show and ended her relationship with former Emmerdale actor Anthony Quinlan shortly after.

Then Dianne appeared on screen and said, “If she values ​​her marriage, then maybe Strictly isn’t for her.”

It is unknown if Dianne was just joking or if Lucy was ever offered to move on.

Dianne has previously revealed that she doesn’t believe in the dreaded “curse” at all.

In an interview with Heart Radio, she said, ‘Of course we spend so many hours with our partners, but we are professional dancers. We’ve done this all our lives.

“It’s normal for us. It doesn’t mean just because you spend so much time together that you will end up together. So yes, I don’t believe in the strict curse at all.’

It comes after Dianne revealed last month the bad habits she has that boyfriend Joe has a hard time dealing with, even giving him “the ick.”

The star shared a candid look into her romance with the YouTuber, 31, in an interview with Women’s health magazine.

Dianne explained to the publication that she is “extremely messy” at home when she has a busy schedule, and at those times it’s often up to Joe to pick her up.

In March, the dancer confirmed that she and Joe are “really happy” and even hinted that the marriage is on the line, saying it would be “great” if they tied the knot.
