Diane Kruger and Tilda Swinton look glam at the Marrakech Film Festival closing ceremony

Diane Kruger and Tilda Swinton looked glamorous as they attended the closing ceremony of Morocco’s 19th Marrakech International Film Festival on Saturday.

Actress Diane, 46, looked elegant in a pink off-the-shoulder dress with a deep plunging neckline and silver embroidered details across the top.

She was joined by fellow fencer Tilda Swinton, 62, at the event, who looked chic in a black and silver floral print dress and matching short jacket.

The ensemble was almost floor-length as she wore a pair of black heels.

She opted for a glamorous look with her makeup and sported a bold red lip at night.

Diane was the belle of the ball in Marrakech all week and tweeted after attending the festival’s opening night that it was ‘great to be back in Marrakech and feel the warm welcome from you all’.

The star recently dove into the publishing world, penning her first-ever children’s book titled A Name From The Sky, which was released last month.

During an interview with Yahoo Life, Diana talked about the inspiration behind writing the book.

She explained that her mother from Germany had visited sunny Los Angeles during the Covid lockdown and spent time with Diane and her four-year-old daughter Nova.

“We talked about the moment that really changed my life in a really big way: when she told me about the meaning of my name,” the actress said.

The beauty expressed that her name, Diane, was kind of strange to have growing up in Germany, and was actually made fun of. However, her mother had explained that her name came from a Roman goddess.

When she recently visited the Today show to promote her touching children’s book, Diane explained that the novel was also for her own daughter, who she shares with current beau, Norman Reedus.

“When I became a mother… I just felt this responsibility and this great opportunity to give her joy and hope in life,” the talented star said.

The award-winning actress further explained to Yahoo that for some time she thought she was not going to be a mother. “I just didn’t think it would be for me.
