Beloved TV star Diana ‘Bubbles’ Fisher has died at the age of 91 after a two-year battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Fisher was admitted to St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Sydney on Monday before dying on Thursday night.
The 91-year-old, who appeared on Australia’s hit television show ‘Beauty and the Beast’, was remembered as a vibrant personality until her last breath.

“She was at our house for Christmas and was picking on my husband for not giving him enough baked potatoes,” said longtime friend Sally Evans.
“She was still full of life, just as people would remember her.”
Tributes have poured in for the beloved TV personality with friend and journalist Craig Bennett describing her as “witty” and “generous”.
“Despite several years of poor health, including a bout with cancer, Bubbles was always optimistic and brimming with fabulous gossip and her trademark enthusiasm,” she said.
‘We had a long phone conversation at Chrissie, we exchanged endless delicious stories. Diane was a charm.
Kind, generous, witty, the best jam maker. And she insisted that the hot scones be buttered cold!
Former gossip columnist Ros Reins added: “Bubbles was the essential influencer who once tried to empower a user group with one of her tortillas.
Bubbles and I also play for the Bollinger Belles cricket team.
Fisher had earned his nickname ‘Bubbles’ for his infectious spirit and warm personality.

She was born in London and married BBC producer Humphrey before moving to Australia when he published in the country for the network in 1964.
Fisher had a keen interest in the Royal Family and covered weddings, births and deaths in 53 countries.
“I have had the great pleasure of meeting many royals,” she told Women’s Day last year.
“The Queen is so lovely – we met in 1971 on the Royal Yacht Britannia, and Prince Charles is someone who is really interested. He never stops asking questions.
