Australia’s elite socialite scene flocked to the Whitsundays this weekend to celebrate the 50th birthday of winemaking and yacht racing heiress Nicky Oatley.
The exclusive party took place at the lavish Qualia resort on Hamilton Island, which is owned by Nicky’s family, and saw a group of mega-rich socialites come together for a luxurious experience to remember.
Among the guests in attendance were athleisure entrepreneur Deborah Symonds O’Neil and her husband Ned, the son of millionaire superyacht broker and Rose Bay marina owner Denis O’Neil.
‘Nude artist’ and socialite Dina Broadhurst also attended the bash with her new multi-millionaire heir, boyfriend John Winning, while fashion blogger Nadia Fairfax was in tow with her financier husband Michael Wayne.
Joining them on the lavish trip were Harper Bazaar fashion editor Caroline Tran and the birthday girl’s sister Lyndal Oatley, an Australian Olympic dressage rider, and Lyndal’s Swedish husband, husband Patrik Kittel, who rides horses.
