Devin Booker laughed off fans’ accusations that the Phoenix Suns star had fake hair.
The jokes came after a video of an alleged ‘NBA player’ being clipped went viral on social media.
The clip shows a hairdresser’s point of view as he gives a haircut to a man who is covering his face. Social media users labeled the customer an “NBA player” without naming the man behind the face covering.
In the video, the barber shaves the top of his head and applies glue before placing a toupee over it. He then gives his client a clean-up – the result resembles Booker’s signature haircut.
“Y’all got me confused lol,” the Suns guard wrote as he reposted the viral clip.

Booker and the Phoenix Suns are sixth in the Wester Conference with four games remaining
Although the identity of his look-alike remains a mystery, Booker made it a point to make himself clear.
Booker is in his ninth season in the NBA since being drafted out of Kentucky. He has spent his entire career in the desert, missing the playoffs in his first six seasons.
He led Phoenix’s run to the NBA Finals in 2021 before losing to Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in six games.
They have lost in the Western Conference semifinals the past two seasons, first to the Dallas Mavericks and then to the eventual champion Denver Nuggets last year.
This season marks Phoenix’s first full season since acquiring Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. Booker is averaging 27.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and seven assists per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the field. The Suns are sixth in the West with a 46-32 record and four games remaining in the regular season.
