The ‘devastated’ Prince of Wales ‘cannot forgive’ Prince Harry for the things he has written in his new book, Spare, a royal expert has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex, in his explosive memoir, details how Prince William was ‘screaming’ and ‘really fuming’ when he grabbed him during the spat with then-Prince Charles after his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral.
Elsewhere, Harry claims in his book that a “very hot” William once injured him by pushing him over a dog bowl on the kitchen floor of his country house in the grounds of Kensington Palace in 2019.
Katie Nicholl of Vanity Fair said page six that, according to his sources: ‘William is privately furious and devastated by what Harry has done…[the royals] I’ve been amazed at the level of detail and how far Harry has gone in all of this.’

He added that he does not believe that a reconciliation will be found for the brothers.
Katie added: “It really feels like a line has been crossed.”
Friends of Prince William have referred to the future king as an “easy target”, saying Prince Harry knows his brother knows he won’t respond to the explosive accusations made at Spare.
Despite Prince Harry’s explosive Oprah Winfrey interview with Meghan, Netflix documentary and now-inflamed Spare memoir, Prince William’s friends, according to The Sunday Times, say he will remain silent.
The Duke of Sussex, in his explosive memoir, shared intimate details about his relationship with the Prince of Wales, before offering further comment in a series of interviews to publicize the book.
So far, William hasn’t responded to the allegations because, as a friend of William’s explained, revenge isn’t like he’s “worthy and incredibly loyal.”
The friend, in question, told The Sunday Times: “It is cruel, cowardly and very sad that William continues to take beatings.” He is silent for the good of his family and the country.
They explained that he is looking at Harry’s explosive 416 pages of revelations, anxious and sad, but focused on his family and making sure they are okay.
The friend came out to say: ‘He is handling it very well on the outside, on the inside he is burning.’
This was reiterated to the publication by another friend who described how the Prince of Wales will be going through a range of emotions and will be thinking strategically and weighing his personal sentiment against the institutional reaction.
Prince Harry sat down for a series of primetime interviews last night to promote his memoir, Spare
His companion detailed William’s desire to follow his grandmother’s example, so the institutional response could win out over his personal feelings, “but he is unconditionally protective of his own family, and he is not going to just turn around.” .
It comes as the duke launched an extraordinary publicity campaign for his new memoir, in which he accused his family of being ‘complicit’ in the ‘pain and suffering’ inflicted on his wife and likened them to ‘abusers’.
In an explosive interview to publish her memoir, she suggested they helped “smash” her and Meghan’s reputations, forcing them to move to California and “have shown no willingness to reconcile.”
The duke dramatically suggests that other senior royals had tried to burnish their reputations ‘to the detriment’ of him and Meghan.
The prince’s astounding claims emerged in a 90-minute discussion with ITV presenter and longtime friend Tom Bradby. While he accused his family of “sleeping with the devil,” he admitted they were not racists, though he believes them guilty of “unconscious bias.”
Harry backed the Queen’s former lady-in-waiting Lady Susan Hussey, who was caught up in a toxic run-in last month, saying she “never meant any harm”.
Harry was not paid for the Sunday night interview, in which he alternated between answering Bradby’s questions and reading sections of his memoir.
In a subsequent interview with CBS’s Anderson Cooper in the US, Harry also had harsh words for Camilla, whom he accused of being a “villain” who “needed to rehabilitate her image.”
He added that she was ‘dangerous’ and leaked stories to the media in an attempt to win the crown.
Harry added that his brother William “raised some concerns” about his marriage to Meghan ahead of their May 2018 wedding.
He said: ‘He never tried to talk me out of marrying Meghan, but he expressed some concerns very early on and said ‘this is going to be very difficult for you’ and to this day I still don’t really understand which part he was talking about.
“Perhaps he predicted what the reaction of the British press was going to be.”
Kate and Meghan have not hit it off since day one, while “stereotypes” prevented the American actress from being welcomed into the royal family, Harry said.
The duke said there were “a lot of stereotypes” about Meghan after she was introduced to the royal family, because she is an “American, divorced, biracial actress”, adding that even he was “guilty” of it.
Harry and Bradby joked about how, after introducing Meghan to his family, he discovered that his family were fans of Suits, the show she starred in during her time as an actress.
But he said it was “fair” to say that, according to Bradby, “almost from the beginning it’s just that they don’t get along.”
When asked why that was, he said: “Many, many different reasons, but I, look, as I detail a lot again, I had pinned a lot of hope on the idea that, you know, it would be William and Kate.” and me and whoever.
‘I thought that, you know, the four of us, you know, we would get closer to me and William, we could go out and work together, um, which I did a lot like the third wheel for them, um, which was fun at times but also, I guess a little awkward at times too.
“But, um, yeah, I think, I don’t think they ever expected me to have, or become, in a relationship with someone like Meghan who had, you know, a very successful career.
He added: “There were a lot of stereotypes that were going on, which I was guilty of, too, at the beginning.”
She said the ‘stereotyping’ of Meghan, in part by William and Kate, was causing a ‘barrier’ for her family, preventing them from ‘welcoming’ her.
When asked what she meant, she said: “Well, American actress, divorced, biracial, there are different parts of that and what that can mean, but if you are, like a lot of my family does, if you’re reading the press “. , British tabloids, [Yeah] at the same time you’re living life, then there’s a trend where you might end up living in the tabloid bubble instead of living in real reality.’
