Devastated pet owners claim a dog sitter set fire to a client’s home, losing their animals and even wearing their clothes.
Jessica Fletcher, who runs Fetch with Fletch, claims to be an experienced dog trainer and walker based in Havant, Hampshire.
But several dog owners have made horrific claims against the businesswoman, with one claiming their mother’s dog was found dead after escaping onto a main road while walking with Mrs Fletcher.
The pet owners took to social media to share their complaints and warn prospective customers about using the trainer, who they say refused to acknowledge their texts and calls.
Customer Ollie Byrne claimed the woman started a house fire with his dog inside, and shared shocking images of his charred carpets.
He wrote on Facebook: ‘Avoid this woman at all costs, I’m telling you now.
“She almost burned my house down with my dog in it and all my stuff. She was lucky I came back from work, otherwise I would have had nothing, not a dog, nothing.’

Mr Byrne posted horrific images of the damage to his carpets and floorboards
Images posted by Mr Byrne show a huge burnt hole in his carpet and ash-like floorboards.
“I have damaged carpets and floorboards and she won’t even admit what she has done and will make every excuse under the sun to get it fixed, completely full of this woman,” he said.
‘I’ve had neighbors complain about her attitude towards them. She calls herself a dog walker and now has to give it up.’
Meanwhile, a heartbroken Facebook user claimed their mother’s dog ended up dead in the care of Mrs Fletcher after being let loose during a late-night walk and running away.
The little dog, called Dixie, was reportedly seen running up and down the A3 before her body was found 24 hours later.
A friend of Dixie’s distraught owners wrote: ‘I have just spent the saddest of evenings with Dixie’s distraught owners.
‘They trusted Jess Fletcher to walk their dog, but she failed to attend to her needs.

A woman outlined the allegations against the dog sitter in a post on Facebook
‘Dixie was found deceased 24 hours after she went missing. Jess Fletcher didn’t look for her, interrupted the owners when they called her and showed no remorse or compassion.
‘Dixie was hit by a car and died shortly afterwards, despite the community looking for her. Her family is devastated.”
The friend claimed that the heartbroken owners spent the night sleeping with their dog’s dead body as they could not bear to part with her.
Another concerned customer claimed the businesswoman bizarrely wore her clothes while the dog sat, while one person claimed Ms Fletcher had changed the furniture without permission.
On the dog sitter’s website, which has since been disabled, Ms Fletcher was advertised as ‘an experienced, passionate bull breed dog lover. With over 15 years of experience’.
The description added: ‘I currently mainly offer 1:1 walks with larger breeds. For obtaining my dog trainer certificate.’
MailOnline has contacted Fetch with Fletch for comment.
