Detroit twin sisters aged 14 vanish without a trace, as stricken dad begs for anyone with information to help him bring the siblings home

The father of two missing teenage girls in Detroit is pleading with the community to help find them nearly a month after they disappeared.

Anieca and Aniya Ogden, 14-year-old twin sisters, were last seen at their father’s home on March 8.

Detroit police said the girls left the home on Robson Street near Curtis Street, east of Greenfield Road, together without permission and have not been seen since.

Authorities have been unable to track down ninth-graders at Mumford High School because they did not have cellphones with them. However, investigators believe they are still in the area thanks to directions from the school counselor, the report said FOX 2.

“If you’ve seen my kids, please tell them to come home,” their father George Ogden said.

‘Just tell them what they’re doing here isn’t right. And be children, be teenagers, for as long as you can. The world we live in is too unsafe to want to grow up too quickly.’

“If they’re not home, they’re not safe. In the world we live in today, it is very unsafe. It’s dangerous and they’re 14 years old and these kids don’t understand the dangers that lurk here,” George said.

‘I would never have forced them to just leave. As a father trying to raise children on his own, it’s heartbreaking.”

They are both described as five feet tall, 130 pounds, with sandy brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Detroit’s 12th Precinct at 313-596-1240 or 911.

Capt. Philip Rodriguez of the Detroit Police Department said WXYZ: ‘Ultimately, we want to make sure that these young ladies are safe and return to their own hometowns.’

Their father was able to find them and bring them home before they disappeared again.
