The Detroit Pistons suffered a 118–112 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, moving their losing streak to an NBA single-season record of 27 straight games.

Detroit's streak extended to a record 26 games after a loss to the Nets on Saturday.

They now hold sole ownership of the longest single-season winning streak in NBA history, the 2013-14 Philadelphia 76ers and the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers.

The only longer streak in NBA history is the 28 straight losses for the 76ers stretching from the 2014-2015 season through the 2015-2016 seasons.

Detroit hasn't won a game since Oct. 28, when they moved their record to 2-1 after beating the Chicago Bulls 118-102 a night after topping the Charlotte Hornets 111-99.
