Detectives are probing parents after baby girl died ‘of heat exposure’ when they took her boating on Arizona lake in 120f weather

Detectives are investigating the parents of a baby girl who died after taking her boating on an Arizona lake during a 120-degree heat wave.

Three-month-old Tanna Wroblewski died over the weekend of July 4 from suspected heat-related complications.

She was enjoying a boat trip with her family on Lake Havasu, about a three-hour drive from Phoenix, when disaster struck.

The region is experiencing scorching temperatures and an extreme heat warning was issued that day.

There is still a mystery surrounding the exact circumstances of Tanna’s death, with mother Alyssa Wroblewski telling DailyMail.com that they are still struggling to understand what happened.

Now, police have announced that they are investigating whether the baby’s death was the result of a crime. It has not yet been confirmed whether the baby’s parents will be charged.

The couple were on the water with Tanna and her sister on July 5 when she lost consciousness.

The family quickly began CPR on the baby before the Lake Havasu City Fire Department took over.

Tanna was taken to Havasu Regional Medical Center and then airlifted to Children’s Hospital Phoenix, where she later died, just days before her four-month anniversary.

Although the cause of death has not yet been released, authorities believe it was a heat-related illness.

Before her tragic loss, Tanna went on many boat trips with her family, and her first time out on the water was when she was just seven weeks old.

The girl’s family told DailyMail.com they have no idea what caused Tanna’s death and that it was just ‘a normal, happy day for the family’.

“I will never understand why you had to leave us, you were just too perfect. I love you endlessly and I will search for you everywhere, angel,” Tanna’s mother wrote in a tribute.

A GoFundMe was also set up to help the family, paying tribute to the “real angel.”

“We are devastated, we have no words,” said the fundraiser.

“Our precious girl gave us her last smile and we gave her our last kisses.”

A sweltering heat wave has gripped the US, leaving at least 28 people dead from heat-related illnesses in the past week. Washington Post defeated.

The five-year-old child was found unconscious in a shopping center parking lot and could not be revived despite attempts at resuscitation.

Research shows that children’s bodies overheat up to five times faster than adults.

Some wondered why Tanna was outside during the extreme heat.

Still, many have expressed their condolences to the grieving family.

“All of your love, thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated as they are going through the most difficult, unimaginable time of their lives,” the GoFundMe reads.

DailyMail.com has contacted police for an update on the investigation.
