Xurthe strange seller of exotic items and agent of the nine, is fickle as ever Lot 2. Xur brings with it an unpredictable roster of Exotics, as well as a range of older Legendary armor and weapons that can help you replenish your collection if you miss them.
The trader appears in the game weekly from Friday to reset and hangs out in random locations around the world Lot 2 – also in the tower.

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of ancient armor and weapons, similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. Usually these items are hard to find and come from seasons long past. Each item (armor or weapon) only costs 1,000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.

What is worth buying from Xur this week?
Here’s some more specific advice on Xur’s wares this week:
Cold heart
This was a pre-order exclusive weapon back then Lot 2 was first launched in 2017 and then became available to everyone Curse of Osiris was released in December of that year. Coldheart is a rail rifle, meaning it fires in a constant beam. The first exotic perk, Cold fusion, causes the Coldheart to fire in a beam made of Arc damage. The secondary benefit, Longest wintercauses Coldheart to deal more and more damage the longer it stays on the same target.
This weapon is super fun to use and can be quite powerful in certain PvE situations, and you should pick it up if you’ve missed it before.
Wormshell Crown
Wormshell Crown is one of the Exotics campaign Warm mind, so you might already have a good roll from 2018. But now that the Warmind campaign is over, the easiest way to get a new roll is to buy it from Xur this week. The exotic perk is Burning soulswhich you heal after dodging.
This is a very powerful helmet in the Crucible. If you’re a PvP player, you should pick this up.

Stronghold
These gloves have the exotic advantage Clenched fist, where your sword gains maximum guard stats while using it and causes you to take less damage while guarding. Damaging enemies shortly after blocking damage will heal you.
The usefulness of this Exotic is highly dependent on how useful swords are in the current meta. But if swords are good, this is a very powerful Exotic to have on your Titan, so it’s worth picking up for a rainy day.

Wings of the Holy Dawn
Wings of Sacred Dawn is one of the strangest exotics of them all Lot 2. The exotic advantage, Tome of the Holy Dawn, allows you to hover while aiming in the air, keeping you in the air for a short time. The more weapon hits you get while hovering, the longer you’ll stay upright. This Exotic also greatly alters the Airborne Effectiveness stat for weapons while wearing it.
Dawnblade is quite powerful, which makes this Exotic a lot of fun to use. If you like floating in the air and throwing fire, check out this Exotic.

Exotic Cipher Quest

Starting in Beyond the light, Xur has a new search for an Exotic Cipher. The Exotic Cipher allows you to purchase ancient Exotics from the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk in the Tower. You’ll need these items and some other currency to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.
This week, Xur wants you to complete 21 Strikes or win Crucible or Gambit matches. Completing the quest will earn you an Exotic Cipher that you can use however you like.
