Xur, the strange exotic seller and Agent of the Nine, is back Lot 2. Xur brings with it an unpredictable roster of exotics, as well as a range of older Legendary armor and weapons that can help replenish your collection if you miss them.
The trader appears in the game weekly from Friday to reset and hangs out in random locations around the world Lot 2 – also in the tower.

As of Season of the Lost, Xur also sells a collection of ancient armor and weapons, similar to Banshee-44 and Ada-1. Usually these items are hard to find and come from seasons long past. Each item (armor or weapon) only costs 1,000 Glimmer and 50 Legendary Shards.

What is worth buying from Xur this week?
Here’s some more specific advice on Xur’s wares this week, April 21-25:
THE WARDCLIFF ROLE
The Wardcliff Coil is one of the most fun and unique weapons out there Lot 2. The first exotic perk is Mad scientist, causing the Wardcliff Coil to fire a volley of missiles. The secondary benefit, Mechanized Autoloaderautomatically reloads the magazine when the user walks over heavy ammunition.
This missile launcher is hard to aim and requires a strange swipe to aim the missiles where you want them to land. But the effort is worth it, and the Catalyst for Wardcliff will narrow the spread if you’re lucky enough to pick it up. In Nightfalls and Public Events, the Wardcliff Coil can decimate groups of enemies in an instant. If you don’t have this weapon, pick it up before Xur leaves this week.
THE BOMBARDERS
The Bombardiers his Year 3 Hunter legs with a silly and mostly useless perk – or rather, it was useless. parting gift leaves a bomb on the ground when the fighter dodges, which then explodes, dealing some damage. While this didn’t do much before, the bomb now changes based on your subclass, burning enemies with Solar, slowing enemies with Stasis, blinding targets with Arc, and suppressing targets with Void. This is a bizarre Exotic that is potentially useful right now, especially if you’re around often.

AN UNSURPASSED SKULL SHORT
An insurmountable Skullfort is an excellent PvE and PvP Exotic for Striker Titans. Are Transfusion matrix perk makes melee ability kill to instantly activate health regeneration and fully restore melee energy. If you are a Titan player and you don’t have this yet, please correct that.

OPHIDICAL ASPECT
The Ophidian aspect gloves were first released with Curse of Osiris. Their exotic advantage is Cobra totems, allowing weapons wielded by the wearer to be ready and reloaded faster than normal. As a bonus, the melee range has also been expanded. These are great “always” exotics. No matter what kind of activity you do, you better wear these gloves than not. Pick them up yourself and see what you think.

Exotic Cipher Quest

Starting in Beyond the light, Xur has a new search for an Exotic Cipher. The Exotic Cipher allows you to purchase ancient Exotics from the Monuments to Lost Light kiosk in the Tower. You’ll need these items and some other currency to pick up Exotics like Heir Apparent and Truth.
This week, Xur wants you to complete 21 Strikes or win Crucible or Gambit matches. Completing the quest will earn you an Exotic Cipher that you can use however you like.
