Destiny 2 the Dawning 2024 recipes and ingredients list
The dawn is back in Lot 2 to close out 2024 and the second act of Episode: Revenant. As is the case with many Dawning events, to complete this event you will need to make cookies for your favorite NPC allies from various ingredients.
Like every year, there is plenty of goodies to collect in the Dawning. There is one new Dawning Linear Fusion rifle earn, a exclusive souvenir making your weapon look ice cold, and all previous Dawning weapons to pick up. All Destiny 2 the Dawning 2024 recipes
Every character in the world of Lot 2 has their own likes and dislikes, and it all comes down to their cookie preferences. You have to bake a different set of cookies for each NPC character in Destiny and then hand-deliver them for certain rewards.
Each cookie recipe calls for an uncommon enemy ingredient, a rare killing ingredient, and 10-15 Essence of dawn – depending on whether you’ve baked every recipe and mastered your oven or not – which you can get by completing activities in Lot 2.

How to get ingredients in Destiny 2’s the Dawning 2024
To make the above recipes you will need ingredients, which drop randomly when you meet certain criteria when defeating enemies in the world of Lot 2.
There are two different types of ingredients: unusual enemy ingredientsAnd rare killing ingredients. We have arranged the ingredients alphabetically below.
How to get unusual enemy ingredients

All enemy ingredients come when you defeat a certain type of enemy. While these ingredients are not guaranteed to appear in a murder, there is a good chance that they will appear.
- Cabal oil: Cabal Oil drops randomly when you kill a Cabal. You can easily find Cabal in the EDZ, on Nessus or Neomuna.
- Chitin Powder: Chitin Powder drops randomly when you kill Hive. You can easily find Hive on the moon, in the Cosmodrome or Savathun’s Throne World.
- Dark etherrite: Dark Ether Cane drops randomly when you kill Scorn. You can easily find Scorn in Savathun’s Throne World or the Dreaming City.
- Ether Reed: Ether Cane falls randomly when you kill Fallen. You can easily find Fallen in the Cosmodrome, the EDZ, Nessus or Europa.
- Took butter: Taken Butter drops randomly when you kill Taken. You can easily find Taken in the Dreaming City.
- Vex Milk: Vex Milk drops randomly when you kill Vex. You can easily find Vex on Nessus, Europa or Neomuna.
How to get rare kill ingredients

The rare kill ingredients come when you defeat an enemy with a certain method, such as a shotgun or a melee skill. These ingredients can be extremely rare, and you may have to kill 50 enemies with a sword to get one Sharp Flavor.
- Balanced flavors: Balanced flavor drops randomly from killing a bow, sniper rifle, scout rifle, or pulse rifle.
- Bullet spray: Bullet Spray randomly drips from kills with heavy machine guns, car guns, or submachine guns.
- Dark glaze: Dark Frosting randomly drops from the Stasis or Strand ability or weapon kills.
- Wonderful explosions: Delicious Explosions drop randomly from class grenade skill, rocket launcher, or (special or heavy) grenade launcher kills.
- Electric taste: Electric Flavor randomly drops from Arc ability or weapon kills.
- Finishing: Finishing Touch randomly drops from Finisher kills.
- Flash of inspiration: Flash of Inspiration randomly drops when you generate Orbs of Power with Armor Mods or Supers.
- Impossible heat: Impossible Heat drops randomly due to solar power or weapon kills.
- Versatile flavors: Versatile flavors drop randomly when you get multiple kills with any weapon type or ability.
- No taste: Null Taste randomly drops from the Void ability or weapon kills.
- Perfect taste: Perfect Taste randomly drops from precision kills.
- Personal touch: Personal Touch randomly drops from melee kills.
- Sharp taste: Pungent taste drops randomly from sword kills.
- Gorgeous texture: Gorgeous texture comes randomly from Super-kills.
What else is in Destiny 2’s the Dawning in 2024?

Unlike other holiday events in Lot 2the Dawning doesn’t ask you to go out and play a new, unique activity. Instead, all you have to do is play Lot 2 to collect ingredients and Essence of dawn. However, just because there isn’t a unique activity for the event doesn’t mean there aren’t a lot of other things happening.
In addition to baking cookies, the Dawning 2024 also includes:
- Dawning-exclusive weapons, including the new ones Mistral elevator linear fusion rifle, with new perk rolls.
- The return of 2023’s Dawning Memento, taken from the Winter’s Night quest and making your weapons look ice cold.
- Upgrades to your baking oven and the rewards you can receive.
- Stasis snowballs, which you can now spawn after getting a kill with your skills or Dawning weapons.
- Winter-themed cosmetics in the Eververse Store and via the Challenge Card.
- Stasis Dragon themed armor available for both Bright Dust and Silver.
- A Dawning Title that you can earn and gild, which you’ll need if you want to eventually earn the annual Reveler title.
- Three unique Vanguard decals that are part of a new community event.
