Jude Bellingham’s remarkable rise to the top ranks of football can be seen in two memorable photos taken with his supportive mother, Denise.

The superstar midfielder won the LaLiga title with Real Madrid this week – the first of his burgeoning career – after a 3-0 win against Cadiz on Saturday evening.

Bellingham himself was on target at the Bernabéu and Madrid’s triumph was mathematically confirmed after Barcelona slumped to a 4-2 defeat in Girona.

In his first season at the club, the 22-year-old scored 22 goals in all competitions and also tasted success in the Spanish Super Cup.

But despite his meteoric rise to great heights, Bellingham remains decidedly humble.

He has built a reputation as a family man and once again stayed close to his roots after sharing a warm moment with his mother at the Bernabeu.

Standing in an empty field next to one of the leading figures of his career, Bellingham posted the caption: “Champions of Spain. Hello Madrid.”

On social media, an account dedicated to Real Madrid drew a parallel between both sides of Bellingham’s time in football, starting with his youth career.

Bellingham obviously took his first steps in the sport in Birmingham City’s academy before rising through the ranks and joining Borussia Dortmund as a club legend.

But long before this big money transfer, a young Bellingham, who joined the Blues from Stourbridge in 2010, also took time to pose with his mother at St Andrew’s.

Bellingham has made no secret of the impact his mother has had over the years.

“The role my mother plays is huge,” he said.

“I think that’s probably everyone’s biggest role at the moment, probably even more than my coaches and managers, to be honest.”

Dortmund paid £22 million to sign Bellingham from their youth team after a breakout campaign in which the club opted to retire his number 22 shirt.

Denise followed her son to Germany and helped manage his affairs while he settled.

Bellingham can still win a sensational treble this season, while Madrid are just one step away from reaching the Champions League final at Wembley.
