The vile moment a former Los Angeles female football player gave a Hitler salute and shouted “Heil Hitler” at a pro-Israel rally in Beverly Hills went viral.
In the video, Stefany Ferrer Van Ginkel can be seen sitting in the passenger seat of a car driven by her boyfriend and United City Football Club player Samim Haydari. KTL reported.
Footage shows Ferrer Van Ginkel reaching her hand out the window at demonstrators during Sunday evening’s rally and making an anti-Semitic hate gesture, while bystanders wave Israeli flags and shout “Shame on you!” to her and the driver.
The video was shared by the watchdog group StopAntiSemitism on Monday and has been viewed almost 20,000 times.
The couple issued an apology late Monday that was posted on social media but has since been deleted.
Amid the growing outrage, Angel City Football Club issued a statement to X, formerly Twitter, condemning Ferrer Van Ginkel’s “recent actions and statements” and stating that they ‘Not affiliated with the club since November 2022.’
The clip shows Ferrer Van Ginkel reaching her hand out the window while giving the Hitler salute as protesters waving Israeli flags repeatedly shout, “Shame on you!”
She also shouted “Heil Hitler” to the demonstrators who were there to support Israel

In the apology, Haydari said: “I know we approached the situation with hatred and made it worse with our actions.
“We behaved childishly… All we can do is get better (and) learn a lesson from this. We cannot change the past.’
Ferrer Van Ginkel did not speak in the video, the news channel reported.
Born in Brazil, the 25-year-old athlete played college football for West Virginia from 2017 to 2021. She was a midfield player for the Angel City Football Club in their inaugural season of 2022.
She also played in the two Challenge Cup games and in two regular season games Just women’s sports.
But her contract with the National Women’s Soccer League team was not renewed through the 2023 season, the sports publication reported.
The Hitler salute that Ferrer Van Ginkel showed is a symbol of hatred and is also called the Nazi salute or the Sieg Heil salute.
