Desperate search for ute after woman’s body is found in Modbury North, Adelaide: ‘Do not approach’

A massive manhunt has been launched for the driver of a missing Mitsubishi Ute after police found the body of a woman in an Adelaide home on Tuesday evening.

Detectives launched a murder investigation after officers were called to an address on Kelly Street in Modbury North and made the grim discovery.

A suspect wanted in connection with the death is believed to have fled the scene in the white P-plated 2008 Mitsubishi Triton, registration XTN167.

“Anyone who sees the vehicle is urged not to approach the car but to immediately call the Police Assistance Line on 131444,” a South Australia Police spokesperson warned.

They added: ‘At around 7pm police were called to a house in Kelly Road to check the welfare of a woman living in the property.

‘The police searched the property and found the woman’s body in the home.

“Detectives from the Northern District CIB, along with major detectives, are on the scene.”
