Mason shared his tweet on Instagram, telling his fellow fans that there was a “1 in 100,000 you’re behind me.”
“May the odds be forever in your favor,” he jokingly added in the caption.
Meanwhile, another AFL legend wasn’t as lucky as Mason.
Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell appeared on SEN to talk about his recent induction into the AFL Hall of Fame.
But he went off-topic during the chat to ask listeners about Swift tickets for his teenage daughters.
“I think most of my week was basically trying to get Taylor Swift tickets for my 12-year-old daughters,” he said.

Telling listeners that he’s had no luck getting the best tickets so far and that he didn’t want to let his girls down, Sam added, “I’m just taking a little license here – if anyone can take my two daughters and my wife, I will. do just about anything.”
Swift’s Current World Tour, which began in March, is on track to become the highest-grossing music tour of all time.
Both the presale in Sydney and Melbourne sold out for hours.
Ticketek saw record numbers on Wednesday as four million Swift fans lined up for a shot at tickets to her 2024 Aussie tour.
Meanwhile, another AFL legend Sam Mitchell wasn’t as lucky as Mason, asking listeners on SEN if they had tickets to the show for his teenage daughters.
Just hours after fans were dissatisfied when presale sold out, a Ticketek insider revealed that they had all wasted their time.
Frustrated Swifts waited for hours with their browsers open, thinking they were holding a spot in line, but it turned out there was never a line to begin with.
“Everyone in the Ticketek lounge has an equal opportunity to enter the premises, regardless of when they arrived,” a spokesperson said, adding it made the process “fair.”
Which means fans who logged into the pre-sale 15 minutes in advance had the same chance of getting a ticket as those who waited bent over their laptops for nine hours.
