An emotional Louisa Harland was comforted in the street by her boyfriend Calvin Demba after watching the West End performance of Cabaret At The Kit Kat Club.

The actress, who starred in Derry Girls as Orla McCool, made a gloomy figure as she sat outside on a bench after leaving the show at the Playhouse Theatre.

At one point, a tearful Louisa wiped her nose before Calvin pulled her in for a warm hug as they said goodbye.

Going makeup free, Louisa looked casual in a khaki jacket and light wash jeans.

A number of stars including Kate Hudson, Emma Corrin and Billie Piper attended the launch of Cabaret At The Kit Kat Club.

The hit musical contains the songs Wilkommen, Don’t Tell Mama, Mein Herr, Maybe This Time and Money.

MailOnline has reached out to Louisa’s representatives for comment.

Louisa was born in Dublin but, like several of her Derry Girls co-stars, went on to train in England, at London’s Mountview Academy of Theater Arts.

Her teenage debut as an actor came as Aiden Gillen’s daughter Kayleigh in the RTÉ drama series Love/Hate in 2011.

Like her peers, Derry Girls was also her big break – and she’s been critically acclaimed for her role as Orla and the on-screen portrayal of autism.

However, she previously confessed that she is insecure about the level of fame and pressure that comes with the success of the show.

She told the Dublin Telegraph: ‘I’m so scared of the internet, I didn’t even know that.

“It’s so terrifying to be a woman and do comedy because it’s believed that women aren’t that funny.
