The hashtag '#agingfilter' has been viewed more than 14 million times as more people jump on the trend and share their results.

She used the filter herself and wrote 'Dermatologist here. This filter is perfect for facial aging (deepening of tear ducts, more prominent laugh lines, drooping around the mouth, increased pigmentation).

Lindsey Zubritsky, another American dermatologist, agreed that the filter is “an accurate representation of the aging process.”

“So you can see your bags under your eyes becoming more prominent, your laugh lines becoming more visible, your cheeks starting to plump and your skin tone generally becoming uneven – what do we think?”
Someone asked, 'How can this be so true? I look so good now, but terrible on these filters! I don't want to believe it.”
Another asked: 'At 27 I'm being told by facial scanners to focus on my wrinkles and start using anti-aging products. Any tips please?', to which the dermatologist replied: 'Sunscreen every day is the most important step'.
