Excerpts from the criminal defense attorney’s social media videos, which broke down each stage of the six-week trial, were used in the documentary.

The lawyer told Nine News he was unaware that his videos were included in the documentary.
He was pointed to this role when he said he kept getting texts from his friends telling him he was on Netflix.
“No one is more surprised by my success than I am,” he said.

Mr. Kalantar, who has more than 363,000 followers, rose to fame after posting his own updates and analyzing each stage of the process.
