The 51-year-old looked typically elegant in a shimmering satin skirt by Etro which she teamed with a sleek white shirt. She accessorized with a thick brown belt that cinched her outfit at her waist.
The heir to the throne, Prince Frederik, donned a smart beige blazer, cream pants and a white shirt that he teamed with navy blue casual sneakers.
The royal couple is on a five-day visit to India at the invitation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

It comes after the Australian-born royal attended the prestigious EliteForsk Awards in Copenhagen earlier this month.

The EliteForsk Awards, roughly translated as the Elite Research Award, honor outstanding researchers of international renown.
It awards five people under the age of 45 1.2 million kronor, which is equivalent to about A$2.5 million.
