Denise Van Outen has reportedly landed a brand new Channel 4 show.
And her latest venture is worlds away from those of Celebrity Gogglebox and Steph’s Packed Lunch – both of which she regularly appears on.
Instead, Denise will present a new show for the broadcaster about air fryers and the country’s obsession with them. The sun claims.
The TV star’s new show, which hits screens later this month, explores the technology and science behind the devices that have swept the UK.
However, on hearing the news, stunned TV fans have shared their bewilderment at the show’s unique subject matter – and many have made humorous jokes about it.

After TV Zone tweeted the news about Denise ‘exploring Britain’s obsession with hot air fryers’, many baffled people have questioned the show’s subject matter.
‘It’s not an obsession, it’s just a device for cooking food! What’s next? The British obsession with toasters or the once-a-year banter with de Breville?’ one tweeted.
While another shared: ‘Hundreds of talented development producers in the UK are sighing and throwing their notepads on a bonfire!’

Denise and Johnny, who were previously involved in a public feud, will present together on Steph’s Packed Lunch, it was announced Tuesday.
Denise and Johnny, who famously fronted Channel 4’s early morning show from 1998 to 2001, will share hosting duties together again on June 13.
During Tuesday’s packed lunch, Denise regularly told presenter Steph McGovern, ‘Steph’s packed lunch will be presented next week by me and… Johnny Vaughan.
“We talk all the time and we keep saying we should do something together and this just feels like the perfect time for us. I can’t wait, I’m so excited.

Steph said, “I’m so excited about this because it’s the reunion we’ve all been longing for for about 20 years.”
The pair were last seen together on TV in 2004 on the BBC1 Saturday night entertainment series, Passport to Paradise.
