The Wild Things star was visibly emotional during her call, often stopping to lean against the balcony railing for support.

She seemed to be explaining parts of the ordeal to the person on the other end of the line.

Richards lowered the brim of her forest green newsboy cap over her heavily made-up eyes as she wiped away her tears.

She was conspicuously dressed in a simple black T-shirt and black leggings with white stripes down the sides.

Richards paired her outfit with black UGG boots and a puffer jacket with rainbow stripes.

Richards appears to have driven herself and Phypers to the Malibu office building when she was first seen slamming the driver’s side door upon arrival.

She then climbed the concrete steps outside the building that led to the glass balcony where her call took place.

Richards had her phone in hand and seemed to be waiting for the caller to reach her instead of reaching out herself.

As the conversation continued, Richards felt the need to take off her coat and pace the balcony, seemingly suppressing her fear.

Phypers gave her privacy for the duration of the conversation. They eventually met outside the building.

She stayed close to Phypers who led them to a white convertible parked in a nearby parking lot.

Richards hid her watery, swollen eyes behind a pair of large sunglasses.

Instead of letting Richards take the wheel, Phypers helped her into the front passenger seat of the luxury vehicle. He gently closed the door behind her.

Phypers, owner of a healing center in LA, wore a black button-up and jeans for the emotional day out with Richards. He wore a baseball cap and lace-up boots.

Earlier in the day, the actress slammed a vicious troll who wished her harm following Monday’s traumatic ordeal, which became public knowledge on Tuesday.

In a now-deleted tweet, a social media user wrote, “I don’t care, I hope she honestly would have taken a grazing shot in the neck,” with Richards calling the follower an “a**hole” when she saw her silence broke on the incident.

Terror: Richards was on his way to Popsicle Studio LA in South Los Angeles with Phypers when the pair’s Ford F-150 Shelby truck was hit by gunfire during a life-threatening attack. Both escaped injury in the incident

She wrote on Tuesday: “Thank you. I would never wish anyone harm. You don’t care what I went through with my husband yesterday. Was the most terrifying situation I’ve ever been in. I’m sorry a shot didn’t clear my neck… a**hole.’

Phypers was driving the truck with Richards in the passenger seat when gunfire broke out. He had trouble finding the studio space, which seemed to annoy a driver behind them.

A source told PEOPLE that Phypers noticed a “gold and maroon van” following them and that the van driver was “apparently pissed off.”

‘[Phypers] could tell — he kept making entitlements because they were clearly being followed,” the insider explained, adding that the pair were “delirious.”

Although Phypers let them pass, the driver reportedly stopped on the left side of the truck. Phypers rolled down his window to address the driver, who accused him of cutting them off.

Phypers apologized and drove away from the driver, who continued to yell.

According to PEOPLE, the pair didn’t realize their vehicle had been shot at from the rear of the driver’s side until they arrived at Popsicle Studio LA.

“The man had then run off, but when they realized the car had been shot, they were really freaked out and the production made sure the scene was safe,” the insider explains.
