Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers were spotted having a few drinks on Wednesday night while waiting for their takeout order at an Italian restaurant in Westlake Village.

After picking up their food, including two pizzas, for their family, the actress, 51, and husband, 50, looked relaxed as they walked back to their car after a terrifying traffic accident in Los Angeles on Nov. 14.

For their outing, the Wild Things star wore a tan Sherpa-lined jacket, dark wash jeans, a black newsboy cap over her blonde hair, and a pair of knee-high boots.

Her husband, who founded and runs a healing center called Q360 Club, was dressed in a casual green jacket, jeans and a black beanie.

This is one of the few public outings they’ve made in the past two weeks since her vehicle was shot at in a potentially life-threatening traffic accident.

Phypers, who was driving at the time, had trouble finding the studio space, which seemed to annoy a driver behind them.

A source told People that Phypers noticed a “gold and maroon van” following them and that the van driver was “apparently pissed off.”

‘[Phypers] could tell — he kept making entitlements because they were clearly being followed,” the insider explained, adding that the pair were “delirious.”

Although Phypers let them pass, the driver reportedly stopped on the left side of the truck. Phypers rolled down his window to address the driver, who accused him of cutting them off.

Phypers apologized and drove away from the driver, who continued to yell.

According to the outlet, the pair didn’t realize their vehicle had been shot from the rear on the driver’s side until they arrived at Popsicle Studio LA.

“The man had then run off, but when they realized the car had been shot, they were really freaked out and the production made sure the scene was safe,” the insider explains.

A member of the film’s production crew saw the bullet hole in the truck and called 911.

As of now, it is unknown if any police ever showed up, though LAPD is now said investigate the incident.

“The production company made her feel safe, but they didn’t report it to the police. They now think that people were after the car itself because it is worth a lot of money,” said the insider.

No one was hurt, but the incident left Richards “nervous” and “sobbing.” She was in the studio for a one-day shoot for her upcoming movie Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace.

Despite being “very shocked and terrified.” Richards ended up working 12 hours on set.

Phypers remained on location during his wife’s filming.

Once the day ended, Phypers and Richards were escorted by an off-duty agent, who happened to be on set, and headed back to their Los Angeles home.
